I lacked inspiration for this list item but saw these men at work on a local roof yesterday. Not the best of photos but it's another one ticked off.

This person has been selling wan tan mee (noodles) for the last 40 years. Now, he is selling vegetarian wan tan mee as a result of his miraculous recovery which a vow he took upon. The price remarkably reasonable. Previously, this man was selling noodles with his brother in Argyll Road.

A young and willing volunteer was adding a new bellrope when I visited this church in Suffolk last week.
No safety harness, no apparent safety precautions.....it made me nervous just to watch. Maybe it would help that he was cleaning the window of a church!

Trinity Church, Wall Street
The church has undergone extensive cleaning and repair work in the interior and exterior. Updated wiring, electrical systems and all controlled with 21st Century technology. Seen on a tour as part of Sacred Sites Open House Weekend by the New York Landmarks Conservancy. Estimated completion of the project should be by the end of the year.
The church was consecrated in 1846 and designed by architect Richard Upjohn. It's the third building on the site. Trinity's history begins in 1697, the original building burned in a great fire during the American Revolutionary War.

Looks strange, doesn't it, but it's actually real! That is taken in the city of Lucerne in Switzerland. The overhanging roof is part of the KKL, aka Culture and Congress Center Lucerne. I took the photo from the bridge called 'Die Seebrücke' with the 400mm lens, hence the distortion. In the background you can see part of the Glarus and Urner Alps if I have that correct. The men were busy repairing the roof of this immense and imposing building.
