Coit Tower, Fresco murals in the American Social Realism style (1934) - Not (yet) removed or erased, or in any other way culturally cancelled by the SFAC (San Francisco Arts Commission) like they did to Colombus statue which was beautifully standing before the Coit tower until 2020.
Coit Tower is a 210-foot (64 m) tower in the Telegraph Hill neighborhood of San Francisco, California, offering panoramic views over the city and the bay. The tower, in the city's Pioneer Park, was built between 1932 and 1933 using Lillie Hitchcock Coit's bequest to beautify the city of San Francisco.
The art deco tower, built of unpainted reinforced concrete, was designed by architects Arthur Brown, Jr. and Henry Howard. The interior features fresco murals in the American Social Realism style, painted by 25 different onsite artists and their numerous assistants, plus two additional paintings installed after creation offsite.

Tugboat maneuvering a massive ship.
A tug (tugboat or towboat) is a type of vessel that maneuvers other vessels by pushing or pulling them either by direct contact or by means of a tow line. Tugs typically move vessels that either are restricted in their ability to maneuver on their own, such as ships in a crowded harbor or a narrow canal,or those that cannot move by themselves, such as barges, disabled ships, log rafts, or oil platforms. Tugboats are powerful for their size and strongly built, and some are ocean-going

As I climbed around on the rocks along the Presque Isle River at Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, I came across this photographer getting set up. At my age, I get nervous being this close to being one slip away from nearly certain death. This park is located in Michigan's upper peninsula. As the river plummets its last quarter mile to Lake Superior, it races dangerously fast over these jagged rocks.

I like to get wood for the picture frames I make from locally harvested wood. My friend Greg mills northcountry wood for a living with his “Wood-Mizer” band saw. He’s my source for pine, and cedar - red and white. I love watching him at work with meticulous virtuosity with his saw and front loader. Here, on a crisp autumn day, he tackles a near ton of White Pine. He’ll remove 1-inch boards from all four sides, until he has a square piece twelve by twelve, and then finish with four six by six beams.
