The melodic singing of the song sparrow is one of the most beautiful sounds. During the spring and summer they are quite prolific in their singing too. This one found us, as we were looking to find other birds in that given habitat. I was so impressed by its beauty, made even nicer by its willingness to perch in the open, and sing away for the camera. LOL
When I read about them I found that they are year-round resident of Colorado. Of interest is that other birds which often imitate other birds calls, cannot replicate the song sparrows songs. So when you think you hear one ... you can be pretty sure that you do. That's a huge help for me. Haha.
I thought this bird image would be fun to share on this Friday ... seeing how many of you will be singing like a bird when the work day is done. :-)

I would like to say that I have rarely been able to sympathize with the typical vocal style of this musical genre so far. - But in this case, the energy convinces me like the total performance of a young band, which should still have a long way to deserved greater attention.
For me it was after a long break a concert shoot, which I had met with mixed feelings - on the one hand because of anticipated movement rituals of the audience, as the very limited recording positions at this venue. - At the end of the concert, there had been no problems and the fire, which can capture a photographer during a concert shooting, had once again ignited inspirational. - There have been a series of pictures, and some of my favorites are expected to be shown in the next few days. Also, more images of this evening will probably be seen gradually in the used by Hadros Roar Internet forums.

Ich möchte vorausschicken, das ich mit dem typischen Gesangsstil dieses musikalischen Genres bisher selten sympathisieren konnte. - Doch in diesem Fall überzeugt mich die Energie wie die Gesamtleistung einer jungen Band, die noch einen langen Weg zu verdienter größerer Beachtung vor sich haben dürfte.
Für mich war es nach längerer Pause ein Konzert-Shooting, dem ich mit gemischten Gefühlen entgegen gesehen hatte - zum einen wegen zu erwartender Bewegungs-Rituale des Publikums, wie der sehr eingeschränkten Aufnahmepositionen an diesem Veranstaltungsort. - Am Ende des Gigs hatte es keinerlei Probleme gegeben und das Feuer, das einen Fotografen während eines Konzert-Shootings erfassen kann, hatte sich auch wieder einmal inspirierend entzündet. - Es ist eine Serie von Bildern entstanden, und einige meiner Favoriten werde ich voraussichtlich in den nächsten Tagen zeigen. Auch werden weitere Bilder dieses Abends wohl nach und nach in den von Hadros Roar genutzten Internet-Foren zu sehen sein.

"Since they were first sighted in 1968, red-whiskered bulbuls have never ventured far from the Botanical Gardens in San Marino, although some have been seen a few miles away at the Los Angeles State and County Arboretum in Arcadia.
They are indigenous to China and Southeast Asia and thrive in warm climates on exotic fruits and insects. Ornithologists theorize that they have been carried or shipped from other countries and that those living in the wild probably are escapees from private aviaries.
The bulbuls are small, crested birds, about seven inches long, with red patches under their eyes and on their tails, brownish coats and white breasts. Their song has been described as both melodic and raucous."

Most weekends, from July through to Thanksgiving, there's entertainment on the "Ottawa River" at
"Remic Rapids". On this particular day this band came in from Montreal & was delayed arriving due
to a storm there, so we were listening to their beautiful music during an absolutely breathtaking sunset!
A very soothing & romantic evening was spent surrounded by amazing Rock Art Sculptures!!!
