He’s a little guy with a big personality. He seems to have a permanently tilted head, so I just called him Tilty. I met him on our recent trip to the island of Hvar, part of Croatia’s Dalmation islands. Hvar has a significant stray cat population, supported by a combination of local community efforts and volunteer organizations. These efforts include informal feeding stations maintained by locals and organized projects for feeding, sterilization, and animal care. There's no official animal shelter on Hvar, but there are two veterinary practices on the island and organizations that rely on donations. If it had been at all feasible, I might have smuggled him home to Ohio for a better life.

He is the latest addition to our "clutter" of kitties. Shadow is 6 years old and very timid but affectionate. We rescued him from Lollypop Farm yesterday where he had been for a month.

When I saw his ear with what appears to be a bite out of it I immediately thought of the fight that Mike Tyson had with Evander Hoyfield where Mike bit a piece of Evander's ear off. Thus the name for this fella.

I am so much in the wood that soon I will become one of the mushrooms. The challenge in Finland takes me in the forest that there are no snakes and poisonous spiders as my motherland Burma has.
Taking only photos and left mushrooms for another day, since they are so big. I think this kind is perennial. For sure, this one will send you to the emergency room.
This is one of our younger koi that was born in our pond. He was mostly black when he was born but he started showing color when he was 6 months old. I named him Houdini! lol I was at the pond's edge when I took this shot. Look closely and you can see a piece of food in his mouth. Happy Saturday everyone!
