Took this on day 68 (yesterday), but as I said, I didn't get to upload due to the fact that my internet decided it hates me. This is a long exposure. I always try to shoot all of my shots perfectly in focus but for this I wanted it to be a bit out of focus to go along with the movement/blur from the long exposure.
If the brightest thing in your shot is a dead sign, then it is shadowed - and that's enough on shadows for a little while.
And found not one, but two pretty pretty princess lip balms. In my
jacket pocket, I have a medicated lip balm. And in my purse, I have a
cherry balm and an "emergency" honey balm, tucked into a pouch just in
case I forget a lip balm, which usually makes my day pretty
uncomfortable.
I think I have a lip balm addiction! I've been wearing it since before
puberty. My mom, sensibly, tucks several into my Christmas stocking
each year. And my dad buys me multipacks from the CVS pharmacy when I
come visit.
And of course, I have a stockpile of at least three in my desk drawer
at home, and the motherlode, 10 clove balms plus a plethora of
assorted other flavors, in a drawer in the bathroom. It's funny that I
have these catalogued, too, but...I can't run out! That would be major
suck.

This baby Giraffe's Mom had just recently died. She had a serious arthritis problem. She had to be medicated, but it grew worse. She was able to see the baby through nursing, and weaning-however, the pregnancy leached so much calcium from her that she declined quickly. The head Vet made the hard, and humane decision to put her to sleep before she fell or had a serious painful break. The other females took over watching out for it-as they do in the wild for nursery duty!! She was a very curious creature, and was fascinated with my motor drive
