Unfortunately in this front lens group there are at least 3, if not 4, lens elements. The goo is below, or on the backside of, the front element. I need to remove the ring with a spanner wrench to get it out.

I don't have a spanner wrench at the moment...so until I get it, stay tuned.

That's a mistake..

Nicole went home. But we had fun. And her phone finally works at her own house.=]

So its been a good day today.

I feel like something is going right, finally.

Otherwise I don't have much to say right now.

Nice early Summer day in Ann Arbor. Saw lots of fox squirrels out and about in Ann Arbor on Monday July 8th, 2019 at the University of Michigan. So all sorts of things going on. I did not see "Patches O'Houlihan" today - and needed to get him a second medicated pecan. Patches is a squirrel who had lost most of her fur because of mange on the Law Quad. I reached out to the Friends of Wildlife Michigan and they connected me with someone who has worked up some medicated pecans for me to feed the squirrels. I did get the second medicated pecan for "Justin" - named for the youngest team member on the dodgeball team that Patches coaches. I did see "Steve the Pirate" again. He has something on his left paw - and a bald patch on his left side and gets his second pecan on Wednesday. I did see Lefty (the three pawed squirrel) again behind Martha Cook - always good to see her.

Cindy is with accumulation of fluid in the abdomen. Is medicated .Tomorrow are the blood and fluid analyzes . She is resting ,without pain. We hope it"s nothing serious.....Please pray for her recovery.....

After classically getting sick with “whatever was going around the office” this past week, my productivity in life was at an all time low. I was religiously taking medicine, drinking lots of water, constantly resting, and worst of all finding myself watching daytime television when I wasn’t sleeping. Sleeping at night was impossible, I could barely walk to the kitchen without getting winded when I was hungry (which wasn’t often), and the worst was having to stay home from work because of my lack of normal functioning. When I was feeling the most drained I peaked at a temperature of 102.2 degrees Fahrenheit.

I’m still not at one hundred percent but I did have enough energy to come up with a photo idea today. Since I didn’t have enough energy to organize a shoot with anyone (or dare ask anyone to do a shoot with a very sick person), I came up with the idea to dedicate this weeks photo project to the medication that helped me get through this past week of doom. It’s not the most spectacular way to start out my photo project but I’m just thankful to feel better enough to get behind the camera again. I’m sure there will be other obstacles in the future that will try to take some of the wind out of my sail for this project, but I will do whatever it takes to keep this creative ship sailing on!

Evil things away

And we're like animals homesick from shows

We gotta kill everything before the night gets wasted

Maybe it seems so strange

But we don't even stress at all

As long as they are medicated the right way with the asthma medicine they won't have any problems.

As a chronic Bronchial Asthma patient, I know the distress when you are under attack of asthma. I also know the calming effect after nebulization. Captured from ward no- 217 of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

This is T’Vet. Along with T’Mol-kom, she was my first mouse. She passed away just a little while ago after living two and a half years. This photo was taken when she was experiencing neurological distress as a rare side effect of her medication. I had to hold her body still while she would eat only soft oatmeal off of my finger, and had to monitor her for seizures. Most of the time, when her body was finally at rest, she would simply lay in my hand, and I would do all I could to comfort her. She did recover after this, however, and lived for a few more months without any medical problems.

i got three hours of sleep last night. and during that sleep, i was restless and in turmoil. i had a dream that my body was an amusement park and my ear was a water-ride. there were lines upon lines of angry, disgruntled people because the ride was closed. there were two little children, a girl named marigold and a boy named tiberius, and they knew what was wrong. they knew that i just couldn't do it anymore. the amusement park was shutting down because i was falling, failing because the pain was just too much. "mommy, daddy," they said, "we have to leave. we have to get out of here." "not now," they said, "we're having too much fun." slowly my body started to shut down as i fell deeper and deeper into the infection: the jumpy castles of my lungs were deflating, the giant slide that used to be my nose started to collapse. in the amusement park of my youth, i was finished.

Hubbys nose has been running all day long, I hope he doesn't get more sick, and I hope I don't get cold too... I just medicated him with these. I took this pic near the kitchen window, blue on this is because of that. Somehow i liked it...

I'd blame today's general funk and high anxiety to it being the 13th, if it weren't for the fact that pseudoephedrine - although highly useful for getting rid of my allergy symptoms - makes me loopier than all get-out. Where's my bed again?

My ex-life partner, the African Gray female called Otto.

Ex because she didn't last longer than 23 years. She got aspergillosis, some fungus sickness that got into the lungs. Medicating is hard, medicines for fungus diseases are very toxic so the most efficient is impossible to give to fragile beings, like birds. I medicated her 3 times/day in 3 months; march to june 2005. The vet said it looked like the fungus was gone, but she was weak and didn't get her appetite back totally. Seemed to recover, though. I went to Ecuador in August that year, and she was just fine when I came back.

As always she wanted to feed me after a longer separation. We were really tight.

Later, in Jan 25 2006 I left her with her usual babysitters and went on my 5-week roadtrip Arizona-California-Oregon.

3 weeks later she just died, I got the news in an e-mail, I just had crossed the stateborder to Oregon, it was Feb 18 and I was on a restarea with wireless access.

Of course it was the end of the happy part of my roadtrip. The rest was like a nightmare, sometimes. However, it was no idea going home before planned, nothing was going to change. She was just gone. I tried to focus on the sceneries, the birds and also some socializing with an e-buddy, and it worked so-so.

Anyway, I've been posting photos from those last days of ignorant bliss recently (the ones from northern California) with mixed feelings. And I was obviously unable to resist posting some photos of her, complete with heartache story...

I miss her so bad, still, a part of me is gone and cannot be replaced.
