Jasmine, jazmín, yasaman, ياسمين..., it means "a gift from the God".
It is the ancient smell of calm, the cool beauty of the night.
The jasmine flower only opens after dark, when the sun sets and the temperature drops.
The small white flowers look like the stars painted on the ceiling of the tombs of pharaons...

The Entabeni Game Reserve:
Entabeni means 'place of the mountain', is a 220 km2 (85 sq mi) private reserve situated in the Waterberg in Limpopo Province in northern South Africa. The Entabeni Reserve is popular for safari trips because of the opportunity to see big game and a variety of birds and antelope species, as well as its scenery, and the fact that it is in a malaria-free zone.
The reserve is home to lions, African Bush Elephants, lion, South Africa giraffes, African leopards, South African cheetahs, South African warthogs, African buffalos, hippopotamus and other safari animals in a variety of habitats.
- Essentially means seeing life through rose-coloured glasses. Living with an attitude or outlook of positivity, trying to see beauty in the everyday; like you do when you first fall in love.
The giant rock formations, Acantilados de Los Gigantes, rise from the sea to a height of 500-800 metres.
Los Gigantes means "The Giants".

Chin means consciousness in Sanskrit, Mudra means seal which is essentially an energetic and spiritual gesture that controls the flow of energy within the body.
Ella was the type to lean a little more towards ‘live and let live’ when given the chance, but she didn’t take lightly being cheated or otherwise done wrong. It was the principal of the thing that she tended to take issue with. Even on the wrong side of the law, she still had a moral compass, though perhaps it didn’t always point due north.
Ella had met her share of shady characters throughout her travels. There was always some degree of dishonesty to a man, she reckoned, but it was all about how much you could live with at the end of the day.
Unfortunately, they’d pin these little tin stars to just about anyone’s chest that would have them, and sadly, hiding behind that little star tended to make a slightly bent man break completely bad.
Ella could wager the lawman had no clue what he was doing when he made eyes for the dappled stud she rode into town on, and she had hard money on the fact that he had no idea what he was calling down on himself when he pulled his gun on her, telling her she’d make it to see another day if she just handed over the reins. Little did he know…
There were few things she held in high regard these days, with all the hard living she’d come to know so well, but Mille and the dappled palomino were two things she held dearest. A history of loyalty had tied them together, and it would take more than some twisted town sheriff to pull them apart.
There are times when knowing when to fold means living to see another day, and though the reins about burned her hand as she handed them over, she knew she’d be seeing the man again, and very soon.

Also called Yellow Toadflax, which is not very appealing, and Linaria Vulgaris for the Latin speakers among you. Please note that vulgaris simply means "common," without the modern English connotations of 'vulgar.' Grows wild, quite pretty, spreads prolifically, some consider it an invasive weed, since it's not native to North America, but has become naturalized here from Asia and Europe and has spread across the continent (a little like dandelions, but not quite so fecund).
I made this image on a dewy morning in August.
The word “Mitama” means spirit of the deceased and this festival held in mid-July pays homage to those spirits. Taking place in the controversial Yasukuni shrine, it sees some 30,000 lanterns strung up in memory of the dead. The festival started in 1947 just a couple of years following the conclusion of WWII, in which over two million Japanese soldiers lost their lives.
"Gnyan-chen-thang-lha"means "the God of Grassland" in the Tibetan language.
གཉན་ཆེན་ཐང་ལྷ > gnyan chen thang lha > Nyenchen Tanglha - 7088m (23254ft)
Nyenchen Tanglha. Important protector of the Nyingma teachings, regarded as a bodhisattva on the eighth level. Also a name of a mountain range south-east of Lake Namtso..
Nyen Chen Tanglha: a mountain god from the central Tibetan area of U-tsang. Aside from the people of the local region Nyen Chen Tanglha is most popular with the Karma Kagyu and the Gelug Traditions of Buddhism.

Sometime leading means making vital decisions on your own, so to protect those around and only you can be held accountable.

And are we out of sight?
Or will our world come tumbling down?
Will they find our hiding place?
Is this our last embrace?
Or will the walls start caving in?
It could be wrong, could be wrong, but it should have been right
It could be wrong, could be wrong, to let our hearts ignite
It could be wrong, could be wrong, are we digging a hole?
It could be wrong, could be wrong, this is out of control
It could be wrong, could be wrong, it can never last
It could be wrong, could be wrong, must erase it fast
It could be wrong, could be wrong, but it could have been right
It could be wrong could be....
Love is our resistance
They'll keep us apart and they won't stop breaking us down
Hold me
Our lips must always be sealed
If we live a life in fear
I'll wait a thousand years
Just to see you smile again
Kill your prayers for love and peace
You'll wake the thought police
We can't hide the truth inside
It could be wrong, could be wrong, but it should have been right
It could be wrong, could be wrong, to let our hearts ignite
It could be wrong, could be wrong, are we digging a hole?
It could be wrong, could be wrong, this is out of control
It could be wrong, could be wrong, it can never last
It could be wrong, could be wrong, must erase it fast
It could be wrong, could be wrong, but it could have been right
It could be wrong could be....
Love is our resistance
They'll keep us apart and they won't stop breaking us down
Hold me
Our lips must always be sealed
The night has reached its end
We can't pretend
We must run
We must run
It's time to run
Take us away from here
Protect us from further harm

Newfangled means new and perhaps needlessly modern. It may sound like a new coinage, but in fact fangel is an Old English word, meaning to take, and newfangled is not newfangled at all. It first appeared in the 12th century as an adjective describing a person over-interested in new things. It appeared intermittently in this sense before taking its modern definition by the early 19th century.
The Black Country Living Museum is an open-air museum of rebuilt historic buildings in Dudley, West Midlands, England. It is located in the centre of the Black Country, 10 miles west of Birmingham.
The museum opened to the public in 1978, and has since added over 50 shops, houses and other industrial buildings from around the Metropolitan Boroughs of Dudley, Sandwell and Walsall and the City of Wolverhampton (collectively known as the Black Country); mainly in a specially built village. Most buildings were relocated from their original sites to form a base from where demonstrators portray life spanning 300 years of history, with a focus on 1850–1950.

Without means to escape the looming bloodbath, her demon orb came levitating with a flick of her finger. "I guess a fight is inevitable," she said in a somewhat calm voice as the orb started to glow bright red. "I hope you're ready to perish. Don't worry... I'll do it fast and painless... /hopefully/."

Hraunfossar means lava falls in Icelandic which is a fitting name for this waterfall west of Húsafel, Iceland. Here a series of springs flow out of the middle of the Hallmundarhraun lava flow about halfway down the cliffs along the Hvítá river (one of several rivers with this name). The springs occur along a 900 meter (2953feet) long section that sends many riverlets of groundwater cascading into the river below. This photo shows only a portion of the springs and cascades.
Plešivec means "Baldy", but nowadays it's far from that. It's densely overgrown by dwarf pines, only on the SE side 3 picturesque rock towers are rising out of greenery.
Here, the mountain is seen from the SE, behind it are some 300 m higher summits of Košuta range (Košutnikov turn). The ascent from this side goes right of rock towers, following the main ridge and state border.
I love summer and all of the green and bright colors. My favorite, of course being, pink! Which means more amazing decor from SummerFest 21' and The Liaison Collaborative. There is still time to drop by Summerfest until July 11th to pick up all your new summer favorites!

This palace, which means ‘Stone House’, contains Khiva’s most sumptuous interior decoration, dense with blue ceramic tiles, carved wooden pillars and elaborate ghanch. Built by Allakuli Khan between 1832 and 1841 as a more splendid alternative to the Kuhna Ark, it’s said to have more than 150 rooms off nine courtyards, with high ceilings designed to catch the slightest desert breeze. Allakuli was a man in a hurry – the Tosh-Hovli’s first architect was executed for failing to complete the job in two years.
Birch trees need to be self reliant since they usually have no neighbouring tree species to give them shade or protection. They grow a lot faster than many other trees. But it also means that they “burnout” sooner from overtaxing their resources. In the book “The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben”, Peter says this, “ Birches rush through life, live beyond their means, and eventually wear themselves out.” Sounds like some people I know. Keep it simple folks. Happy Tree-mendous Tuesday.
