a modest dedication to the families of Oliver Martin and Dylan Ellis, both gunned down yesterday just after midnight.

I know the parents of Oliver and it was his Stepfather who received the call that all parents dread , just after midnight.

My Son Chris tutored Oliver as well for a couple of years..

We are all shocked and saddened by this horrible event..Two young guys just starting out in the world.

I did not know Oliver well and as a matter of fact had only seen him off and on through the years as he grew up. Ironically I met him as a fully grown young man just shortly before (literally a few minutes before)I took this picture but did not recognize him.

It was a beautiful day and when I ran into him, he noticed my camera and suggested I take a picture of him. He was very charming and had a wonderful smile..I replied "sure .....if you don't mind showing up in Flickr !!" He laughed and declined, wishing me a good day.. It was a picture of him in the newspaper that made me realize that this was the person I had met that day.

This dedication is for all who knew and loved both Oliver and Dylan, both childhood friends.
