Visited Masonic Lodge (Freemasons) at their Open house day. Two members asked if they could take a portrait of me at the stairs. Once that was done they suggested to take one for me too, so I let him use my camera.

Se trata de un movimiento originario de Estados Unidos llamado 'Shoefiti' y puede significar lugares en los que se trafican con droga o tambien señala que se trata de un código secreto que emplean las bandas callejeras para delimitar el territorio, para señalar hasta donde extienden sus dominios. Otras opiniones apuntan a que las 'zapas' colgadas es un indicio de que allí hay una casa ocupada, en la que los viven miembros del movimiento "okupa" y tambien señalizar y conmemorar la muerte de un compañero.
Incluso en algunas zonas como Nueva Zelanda, el fenómeno de los zapatos colgantes se ha convertido en un deporte amateur. En algunas zonas rurales, los agricultores compiten para lanzar las botas o zapatos lo más lejos o alto posible.

Graham Ibbeson's statue of Eric Morecambe on the promenade of Morecambe. John Eric Bartholomew was born in Morecambe in 1926, and adopted the stage name of Morcambe after establishing the comedy partnership with Ernie Wise. The statue features the comedian's "Bring Me Sunshine" pose and portrays him with binoculars and dressed for a spot of birdwatching, something Eric Morecambe did frequently.

What a freaky day today. This afternoon, one of my friend contacted me in YM.
Friend : say (sayang = short way to call honey in Indonesian language), somebody contact me on YM
Me : who is that ?
Friend : I don’t know, she told me that she is girl friend of my flickr friend
Me : what does she want ?
Friend : She told me to stay away from his boy friend. What the hell. I have boy friend already and I don’t have any intention to fall in love with her boy friend. Anyway, this man contacted me 1st coz he said that he like the photos I made and asks me a lot of things bout photography.
Me : hmmm….crazy girl….
Do you have possessive lover ? sometime I don’t understand why people can be so possessive with their lover and can cause of problem like jealousy.
Ok, why need to be jealous if there is no reason to jealous ? Guys…girls…be trust worthy! Give love and affection as much as you can to your partner, so she/he has no reason to jealous and also no reason to cheat you of course! Also…don’t forget to give space and trust to your partner. Well…everybody is human being…no body perfect, so…I think it’s nothing wrong if we admire someone no ? Admire the face, the look, the body…everything. But remember, it will just go till admire. Remember to whom you belong to be. Make it like this…you can take a look for the menu, but take dinner at home.

it snowed here again, and I missed a lot of the excitement because I came down with a bad winter cold. better than flu', I guess, which I thought it was, but I've been sneezing with a horrible stuffy nose.

so with the snow, there are lotsa dead reed orchids. I had left some outside. today I gathered up the ones I could and apologized to them and put them into the greenhouse where they will turn to mush.
I was a bad plant mama.
but the snow was pretty.

1- I hate to talk about myself and to upload my personal photos and just did it because i was tagged.
2- I was born in 1960. im 1,62m tall,brown eyes and brown hair
3- I Have been married to Jose for 27 years now
4- I have 2 daughters, 24 year old Catarina and 21 year old Filipa. They are the best reason I live for.
5- im sincere friend and i like to please my true friends in order to see them happy.
6-This photo doesn't show how i dress because it was taken on a birthday party.
I love to dress casual with jeans,sweat shirts and tenis shoes. My prefered colors are pink and yellow
7- i live in an apartment in Lisbon with my husband, daugthers and my 2 young boys-2 dogs a Labrador Retriever and a pincher.
8- I love the sea, the summer and all that is related with them
9- I love photography and my photostream is various and i continue to see myself has an amateur and everyday improving more with you
10- I love to travel and meet new people and cultures.
11- I love portuguese food and red wines the most.
12 - I love Algarve and we have a family oranges farm there, where I llove to go in summer when weather is good

14- My friends tell that I'm funny because as I say about myself "im aluada" this means im not on the planet hearth many times but on the moon.

15 - Im very happy to be in this magnific world of flickr and to meet so wonderful friends as you are that fill a hole I have in my heart.
16 - The worst one comes in the end. I smoke too much and like to smoke but would like to smoke much less.
17- For a person that doesn't like to talk about herself I wrote to much, but I didnt forget I did it in english, next step for tomorrow is to put it in Portuguese

I have been tagged by Antolín. It has been a challenge (especially that of having to make a self-portrait), but here you are, 10 things about myself:
1. I've never done a self portrait before. I had a nightmare of a time setting everything. Immediately after taking these shots I bought a wireless shutter release in Amazon!! You never know...
2. My name is Itziar, a self-enployed graphic designer. I am the eldest of 6 children and mother of two: Luka (13) and Libe (10). But most of you already know them!!
3. I have lived in different places (the last few years in England), but I have always known where HOME is: San Sebastian, a beautiful city in the Basque Country (North of Spain).
4. I enjoy company, but any gatherings of more than 4 people make me very uncomfortable (probably far too many years working on my own).
5. A few years ago I decided to stop going to the cinema. I fall sleep, no matter how much action!! We watch DVDs at home, when I know I am fit for it. :)
6. I hate lies.
7. I don't like cooking (I do it because I have to), but I love eating!!
8. I hate having to behave in a certain way just because everybody else seems to do so. I like sticking to my own beliefs (I don't like the idea of being part of a herd).
9. I do not tend to have idols, but the one person I would love to spend a day with is Stephen Fry.
10. I am really fortunate to share my life with a good man (for me, the most important characteristic of a person).

He sido taggeada por Antolín. Ha sido un reto (sobre todo el de tener que hacerme un autorretrato), pero aquí tenéis 10 cosas sobre mí:
1. Es la primera vez que hago un autorretrato. Fue una pesadilla montarlo todo. Nada más tomar las fotos, me compré un disparador inalámbrico en Amazon!! nunca se sabe...
2. Me llamo Itziar, y soy diseñadora gráfica. Soy la mayor de 6 hermanos y tengo 2 hijos: Luka (13) y Libe (10). Pero seguro que ya los conocéis!!
3. He vivido en distintos lugares (los últimos años en Inglaterra), pero siempre he sabido dónde está mi CASA: San Sebastián.
4. Me gusta estar acompañada, pero las reuniones de más de 4 personas me incomodan mucho (seguramente han sido demasiados años trabajando sola).
5. Hace años decidí dejar de ir al cine. Me quedo dormida, y no importa lo trepidante que sea la peli... Así que vemos el cine en casa, cuando sé que estoy preparada. :)
6. Detesto la mentira.
7. No me gusta cocinar (lo hago porque tengo que hacerlo), pero me encanta comer!!
8. Odio tener que comportarme de un determinado modo porque el resto de la gente haya decidido hacerlo. Me gusta seguir mis convicciones. No me gusta la sensación de pertenecer a un rebaño...
9. No suelo tener ídolos, pero me encantaría pasar un día con Stephen Fry.
10. Tengo la suerte de compartir mi vida con un buen hombre (la característica que más valoro en una persona).

Yesterday a great wet plate Collodion workshop at Hans de Kort. We made tintypes and ambrotypes. I'm so happy, I wanted to do this for a long time. I think I'l order some collodion stuff today. (And cut my hair next week.)
