A short break from travels photos. This was yesterday as i tried to overcome my jet lag.
I used to take self-portraits all the time. Now, not so much. I no longer feel the urge. But yesterday my son Sam (who is home for a short time) and I went to Calumet together and bought a lensbaby. This is one of the shots he took while he was testing it out.
This shot means a lot to me cause he took it. He's begun to surpass me in his photographic abilities. I've been at it for years, he's just started. He's now a year in to his cinematography program and he knows so much more than me about film and photography. He's now giving me advice!
I love you, Sam.

I was really not looking forward to this. I'd seen him in action. But Gav and mum made me. I thought he was real. But he gave me a doll of Princess Leia and one of those chimps with the rosy cheeks that sucks its thumb, what are they called again... Anyway, after that I thought he was quite a nice guy. :D
Calamón común a la fuga, salió a darse su vuelta matutina, tan temprano que aún no daba el sol en este rincón de la charca, en la otra orilla apareció otro ejemplar, y sin mediar cacareo alguno, salió disparado a su busca hasta meterse los dos en las aneas de la orilla. Me costó pillarlo porque había palos en medio, casi se me sale del encuadre pero al final no me desagrada el rastro que deja en el agua y que equilibra un poco la rara composición que quedó.
También es cierto que me quedé algo corto con la velocidad de obturación.
