My intent was to capture the complementary colors of blue and orange while getting not only circles from the orange pieces but a repeating circular line in the blue bowl they are in.

Maynard Honors Local Veterans With Wartime Service Medal by CT Senate Democrats

George Hyland stands with Senator Andrew Maynard and Department of Veterans’ Affairs Commissioner Sean Connolly after being presented with the Connecticut Wartime Service Medal at a ceremony at the Harley P. Chase VFW Post 1265 in Pawcatuck organized by Senator Maynard. Over 50 armed services veterans from Stonington, North Stonington and Groton were given the medal that honors Connecticut veterans with qualifying wartime military service. (December 3, 2015)
