Graffiti art along a bank of garage doors behind some buildings in Maynard, MA.

425 West 2nd Avenue, Vancouver, BC.
It was constructed in 1919 and used as a repair shop and warehouse serving the industrial uses in the area. The building is a good example of an Edwardian brick industrial warehouse of that era and is part of a collection of early 20th century industrial buildings, including the “Best Building” at 1920 Wylie Street, the nearby warehouse at 365 West 2nd Avenue and the “Nye Building” on the south side of 2nd Avenue. Given the changes in the area, the Maynard’s Building is now one of very few remaining heritage buildings on the former industrial lands. The remainder of the site is currently developed with three buildings and surface parking, all of which will be removed to make way for the proposed development.
David Rose stands with Senator Andrew Maynard and Department of Veterans’ Affairs Commissioner Sean Connolly after being presented with the Connecticut Wartime Service Medal at a ceremony at the Harley P. Chase VFW Post 1265 in Pawcatuck organized by Senator Maynard. Over 50 armed services veterans from Stonington, North Stonington and Groton were given the medal that honors Connecticut veterans with qualifying wartime military service. (December 3, 2015)

My intent was to capture this landscape of rocks lined up out at a National Wildlife Refuge near where I live and I thought this was interesting because I framed the image so the rocks would go in a line right through the middle of the image and then it is interesting because it looks like the rocks go into the foliage under the bushes the viewer questions where the rocks are going.
