Max was well enough to come with me to visit Mum in Gloucester- the first time he has visited her in the Nursing Home and the first time he has seen her since her 90th birthday in July 2009. Mum's joy is apparent - I've missed you so much, she said to him.
What makes these photos poignant for me is that they demonstrate how easily they get on with each other - there has always been a special relationship between them - and I think it shows - it seems that Max doesn't look at Mum in the way that the rest of us do, he sees things from her viewpoint. I envy him this, but as he said to me, he has not seen his grandmother from my viewpoint. He is a wise young man.

this was one of those days where people don't quite know how to react to the weather, and you see people in T-shirts as well as in winter coats with scarf and gloves. I thought it was nice but then, I had been throwing a frisbee around in the park, so .....

Max's first kite flying trip... (click here for more:http://www.flickr.com/photos/13kingdoms/sets/72057594099744817/ )There was actually NO wind, so the kites were entirely leg powered... (running takeoff, crash as soon as you stop!) Max had a blast chasing after us as we flew the kites... Then Max, Maw Maw Bug, and I went down to the water behind the levee (Plaquemine, Louisiana) for awhile..

This is a image I put together after finding photos of one of my 2 favorite Latex models...Masuimi Max...She was wearing green so I made it black and the 2 photos made me think of a vintage horror movie...So thats the direction I took..Hope you like
This is my second-born. My progeny. My almost-grown seed. My wonderfully easy-going, sometimes complicated, often hungry and money-less, and mostly beautifully talented boy, MAX.
CHRISTIAN MAX to be precise, but we all just call him MAX. Love, love, love spending time with him. We have so many common interests. Movies, books, art, music, LA life and culture, food, particularly street food, which is why we pull over for taco trucks on any given corner in LA.
Max is a student at PCC taking photo journalism. He's got an amazing eye and often finds himself climbing scaffoldings, creeping through back alleyways, teetering gingerly on bridges and catwalks (much to his mother's horror) in order to "get the shot". I'm often encouraging him to join flickr so he can display his great photos and join this remarkable cyber-society of folks who just have a passion for pictures.
I love this kid. A LOT.
The outfit isn't too exciting, but it's shaded nicely and paint job is void of any real noticeable flaws.
Este es un auto de la categoría MiniStocks, una categoría que nos acompaña durante la temporada de NCS y se trata de autos de menor tamaño y potencia y que tiene por objetivo formar a los pilotos que después "suban" a la categoría estelar.
A bordo de éste auto está Max Calles, un joven piloto de 13 (aunque creo que ya cumplió 14) años.

Estoy todo el día perdido entre bosques y frío, sacando fotos y aprendiendo a controlar mi don. Todavía no he viajado a ninguno de los polos, ni al Himalaya ni siquiera al Mont Blanc. Pero todo se andará. Hay cosas que corren más prisa.

Seems Max Spiers died unexpectedly age 39 and in what might be described as suspicious circumstances? He was interested in UFOs but then he got to messing in stuff some might not have liked him to be messing? Supposedly he died of natural causes or not as the case may be?
