Drawn for Hawk of his characters Alec and Brooke, for MAX
Midway through coloring this in Photoshop, I decided this needed traditional media. Gee, thanks, muse. And I really need practice with colored pencils.
I'm not terribly happy with this image, because finishing it made me realize that I have at least one other image with different characters in the same pose.
Max had just woken from his afternoon nap and wasn't too happy for a while. The sponsors of this scene would like it known that Max is the human. Thank you
alex's cat, max. was being very good for me, mostly because i was letting him bat & bite at my dangling lenscap while i shot… :)
Day one = first day of Max refusing to use a high chair, or even to have a cushion on his chair. We tactically tried to have our evening meal at nap time for most of the week to avoid such little dramas!
