Yesterday Max said that he would return today having shaved , and I thought, oh yeah! When he did turn up this afternoon I was surprised, but it has to be said that he wanted to use the printer in my office and as he was here . . . obligingly he sat in my office chair and the sun wasn't shining through the window so the light was fine, and we talked . . .
Processing photographs of grown up children is such a treat - it is an opportunity of really looking at a face without the retort of 'what?!' I suppose it is during adolescence that we become less open to perusal because our faces and bodies change so much during these years

So, he is 7 months old and is proven to be quite a quick learner and he just LOVES people! Especially our family, of course! He also has a crush on Sofi, so he does everything possible to annoy her and push her away if she's getting my attention. Too bad Sofi is winning. Points for trying though.
Anyway Max is one big ball of energy, he just doesn't get tired. And if he does, then he just sleeps for a bit and is ready to go all again! He loves water, and putting his head in it. I thought that fox terriers don't listen to you but he has proven me wrong. He is incredibly quick on his feet and has quite a taste for treats, so even when he goes off "hunting" it takes a few calls and he's back. Of course Max isn't still raising his leg, so he might get more stubborn in a month or two. But so far so good.
Max has his first show in a month :).

Our pal Max is visiting from the UK, so after a long day at RCCC, we took her to see the Columbia Gorge.
Among the first captures of Max with my new zoom lens out to 70mm.
In portraiture it appears length does matter! Longer, faster lens is on the list.

Max A. Townson filed papers with Clerk Wesley Moore on Tuesday making his re-election candidacy official. Townson seeks a third term as the Mayor of City of Cullman. Tuesday was the first possible day a candidate could file paperwork to be registered for the upcoming municipal elections on August 23rd.
Mayor Townson has been an active member of the Cullman community as well:

Day four of attempting to re-bond Max and Mocha; it could be a lot worse. Plenty of chasing, a few tufts of fur, but no major fights. Mocha still thinks boy bunnies are dumb, but I also witnessed her teasing Max and at times being very subservient. Unlike Donut and Minnie Rabbits, these two will eventually figure it out. Mocha is to be spayed in eight days time, so hopefully she will no longer feel the need to pee on Max’s blanket. To think poor Max is getting all the blame! Mocha, sitting in her cardboard box, wants you to believe she could do no wrong…

Playing for first time with my 35mm 1.8. Took about 20 of these shots very similar, this was the one with the best focus, but composition is slightly out unfortunately. Still quite a nice shot in my opinion.
