Max is quite poorly at the moment, which is why i am behind on my contacts, I have been busy looking after him. He has had a stomach upset with sickness and diarrhoea and it's been very distressing and lots of disturbed sleep for the whole family. As many of you know i am quite poorly myself and the extra stress and lack of sleep has taken it's toll on me too. Anyway things looked up a little as he started to pickup a bit and his appetite has returned but his back leg has swollen up very badly on what would be his ankle joint. It's a bout the size of my fist!!! He can't walk on it at all and has to be carried up and down stairs. The vet has no idea what's wrong, he said it could be a number of things, an infection in the joint from arthritis or from the stomach bug. max has to go back for xrays tommorrow. Max has so much to cope with already with a crumbling spine and arthritis and yet you would never know, so to see him like this is heartbreaking. Please pray or keep your fingers crossed for him that it's nothing to serious. I will keep you posted xx
Urban Siege Max Steel in his new threads. A really cheap version, but the original fell apart. This one won't see much playtime now that my son's older. Now to find some boots and the original grey N-Tec Harness

No matter how ill, or tired I feel, I always feel better when I get out and walk my boys. There happiness transfers to me and lifts me up.
I don't know how I would cope without them sometimes x

COST: $1.5 billion for 7.3 miles = $205,479,452.05 per mile. Yikes! That's $38,900 per foot.
Yes: $205 million per mile. I'm a mass transit fan, but these figures make as much sense to me as advanced Spanish grammar does to my cats. None. But at least the agency puts up the number so anyone inclined to do the math can see. A cynic (or lawyer) would say this is so the public can't complain after this information has been disclosed.
I wonder whether the transit agency is putting these banners up in enemy territory, i.e., Clackamas County, the terminus of the line and the fatherland of light-rail haters.

This is my friend Max, he was kind enough to participate in this project I called my garden. The idea was to do interesting portraits of all the interesting people in my life. Max is certainly interesting. He showed up in a kilt, I mean, of course he did! Here we are in the middle of a stone labyrinth and he is gathering his chi for some more photo adventures. This was a fun day spent with one of my favorite artists.
