Match For Michaela 2012 At Casement Park Belfast where the Donegal All Ireland Champions Played the Ulster Select team in order to raise awareness and money for the Michaela Foundation. The night was a huge success with around 19,000 people attending the event + the event was broadcasted world wide through TG4 and BBC. Entertainment was also part of the night with performances from Ulsters own Janet Devlin. Local Bands also played at the event and there was various other events that took place on the night. The stewards starting to clear up after the match. They didn't seem to mind me messing about for a few minutes right at the back of the stand, trying to brace the camera on the TV camera platform. Would have preferred them all to get out of the shot, but what can you do?

Another stitch of St James' Park, this time taken from the East Stand (Row J Seat 55 Access Pt 2). Taken at the start of The Match, Sky One's Celebs vs Legends charity game. The stitch is 5 images but this time I've had to do a bit of work to clone out the multiple ghosts of players and officials moving around. Taken at ISO800 to try to get some kind of decent shutter speed
Riley's 13-year Cicada - Magicicada tredecim (female, body length 29 mm)

I picked up a freshly-emerged pair for detailed photos. Female has no visible sound-producing organs at the base of the abdomen. In cicadas, sound-sensing organs are in the legs, apparently--see:

I see reports that females of some cicada species do have tymbals, but I would like to see confirmation of that in the scientific literature. Reading popular accounts, it seems there is some confusion about tymbals being used for sensing sounds. I think that is incorrect, and they are the sound producing organs only. There are smaller organs for sensing sounds.
