Caterpillar 980H front loaders. Their cushy winter job - snow removal from a shopping mall parking lot. At least this year it is cushy as we have had very little snow.
Shot at F4, 1/4000, ISO400 with off camera flash (430 EX ii) about 6 inches to the right of the match at about 1/32 power.
The match was stuck in a blob of bluetack and lit with another match. I fired the camera with a remote release firing multiple high speed shots.

Headlining once again at the Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds were Damp Matches, a Norwich-based ban. According to their promo on their website they offer a unique blend of alt-rock, trash-hop, and anthemic indie.
Their sound is characterized by big, punchy riffs, thunderous drum lines, and frontwoman Helena Lewis's soaring vocals, often complemented by bassist Will Calvert's hip-hop influences.
They are known for their raucous, high-energy shows and are considered ones to watch on the UK rock circuit.
They were excellent!

I picked up a freshly-emerged pair for detailed photos. Male is slightly smaller than female, and the singing organs (tymbals) are visible at the base of the abdomen. Each tymbal is covered by a flap called an operculum.
