Headlining once again at the Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds were Damp Matches, a Norwich-based ban. According to their promo on their website they offer a unique blend of alt-rock, trash-hop, and anthemic indie.
Their sound is characterized by big, punchy riffs, thunderous drum lines, and frontwoman Helena Lewis's soaring vocals, often complemented by bassist Will Calvert's hip-hop influences.
They are known for their raucous, high-energy shows and are considered ones to watch on the UK rock circuit.
They were excellent!
