My father-in-law brought these matches back from World War II. As I understand it, "flamers" are also known as "lifeboat matches." They were kept in metal cans to protect against dampness and, once lit, they burned longer.
I believe that the Bryant & May Company no longer exist.
Match For Michaela 2012 At Casement Park Belfast where the Donegal All Ireland Champions Played the Ulster Select team in order to raise awareness and money for the Michaela Foundation. The night was a huge success with around 19,000 people attending the event + the event was broadcasted world wide through TG4 and BBC. Entertainment was also part of the night with performances from Ulsters own Janet Devlin. Local Bands also played at the event and there was various other events that took place on the night. Rights Free (NO ATTRIBUTION NEEDED): A very powerful thunderstorm hit the Nations Cup 2013 Grand Final venue last night. Wind speed up to 40 m/s (78 knots). Everything is smashed. The organisation is working hard to reestablish everything but the clock is ticking.
The ISAF The Nations Cup Grand Final 2013 - powered by The Triangle Region, held on 6–10 August 2013 in Middelfart, is organised by Match Racing Denmark on behalf of sailing clubs in Middelfart, Horsens, Vejle, Fredericia and Kolding. Partners are Destination Lillebælt, Middelfart Municipality, Developing Fyn, Sport Event Denmark and the companies like Middelfart Savings Bank, Dong Energy, Aarsleff, AH Industries, Scanprint, Jyske Bank, Dinex, Bunker Holding, Dalsgaard Pavilions, TREFOR and Hindsgavl Castle.
2 1/2 x 4 3/4" decorated match boxes. The outside of the box was wrapped in scrapbook paper. The top has a contrasting square with another torn paper glued on edges only to allow a tag to slide in. The top is decorated with vintage items: buttons, beads, ribbon, and gold trim. The drawer is covered in paper with a vintage button drawer pull.

Sliders were pushed because the backdrop fabric is full of creases and I'd already spent my post-processing time on the brick wall shot.
I took a picture of the brick wall - and made a hole it :) - last month, on the off chance I'd find a use for it later.
