"The secret of flight is this -- you have to do it immediately, before your body realizes it is defying the laws" That was the words he said when he looked at his delicate little mechanic bird & his blue prints, after he paid for the beers back in that pub, letting him wonder about giving in finally into his crazy idea to finish the flying machine he had designed as child as part of his innocent imagination. Being able to fly like birds did to escape from this town once & for all.
Later that night he closed himself into his own self made contraction area deep into the basement of his home so neighbors wouldn't bothered from all that noise that was made down there, thankfully a little radio was doing the trick about it.
All that has been left to be done was to find a high location to test his device before dawn breaks.
Would he made it to fly?

At first my attention was drawn by the composition of curves and stairs. But then at this very moment the lady, walking the stairs with her bright yellow outfit, seems to complement the broken path of yellow light. Indoor shopping centre at Dusseldorf Germany.

River Trent flooding at Gunthorpe, Nottinghamshire.
09 February 2026. The River Trent at Gunthorpe showing it strength and potential destruction. Very clear to see in person, the speed and power of the current at this point. Though pehaps not on any particular photograph. I kept well clear of the waters edge for obvious reasons. It's set to get worse than this over the coming days as more heavy rainfall is predicted.
The area features the historic Gunthorpe Bridge, a vital crossing, and has a long history of river traffic.
The name Gunthorpe refers not to guns but to a Viking woman. Gunnhildr was a common Viking female name, notably in the family of King Cnut, and could be shortened to Gunni. The name Gunthorpe combines Gunnhildr with the Old Norse element þorp meaning 'outlying farm/settlement'.
