Here is the Master and Commander, the trophy for best naval or maritime build in the Castle theme at Bricks Cascade 2016. It features a ship cutaway showing the captain on the deck looking through his spyglass, and below him his quarters with his desk and charts.
The Master has been in the shadows for many years. All he can do now is live within the darkness or find the final silence.

Paintings for sale -- from an art show at one of the most beautiful squares in the world.
Taken shortly after arriving at Piazza Navona. Piazza Navona is one of the most famous city squares in Rome. In its center is the fountain of four rivers (if that sounds familiar, well, in the movie Angels and Demons, this is where the fourth cardinal would have drowned) -- and yes, this is the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi , one of the "altars" of science referred to in the movie. Unlike the scenes in the Vatican which were created via CGI, actual filming was held here.
The square features works of Gian Lorenzo Bernini, Borromini and Girolamo Rainaldi.
More on the fountain of four rivers on my next post. This shot is taken near the north side of the square.

I also took this opportunity to try and do something dramatic with lighting... something I need to work on.
Eagle Master Khairat Khan is a bit of a celebrity in the world of Eagle Hunters. There was a 2005 movie made about his trade, titled “Kiran Over Mongolia,” which means “Golden Eagle Over Mongolia.” Although we were unable to see him fly or hunt with his new eagle – he'd released his old eagle only four days before our arrival – we were able to spend two days with him and learn about his life and the lifestyles of Kazah Eagle Masters. A truly wonderful and sobering experience.
