The Royal Albert Bridge crosses the River Tamar in between Saltash in Cornwall and St Budeaux on the outskirts of Plymouth. When it was completed in 1859 it enabled the Great Western Railway to connect London with Penzance. The bridge is regarded as one of Isambard Kingdom Brunel's masterpieces, though sadly he died that same year. The road bridge that can be seen behind it was completed in 1961 and carries the A38 trunk road.
We just had to capture this one today.
It seemed like a barista made a fabolous drawing in the coffee 😁

The background is formed by the flowering hibiscus with its beautiful purple / blue flowers.
WTC #4. To see these amazing architectural masterpieces being built is really pretty awesome. I for one can't wait till they get completed. I believe they are planning shopping center's and restaurants in one of the buildings.
Have a great week everyone~!

In Motovun, there were some shops selling products made from the region's speciality, white truffles.
"Look Bärbel, do you remember how we went down the steep stairs to get to this shop with ruffles?
"Yes, of course Luis, but they are not called ruffles, these are druffls!"

Taken on a beautiful late May afternoon on a photo-shoot with Jan Van Heerden. the glistening edifice of the giant building reflected the azure sky and the accommodating clouds! This Sasol Headquarters Building in Sandton., Greater Johannesburg, South Africa is an architectural masterpiece! Notice the adventurous use of angles, tilts and innovative styling! Sasol is the South African petro-chemical giant that, spawned in the Apartheid years to help make the country fuel-independent, has long been a world leader in, among other things, the conversion of coal into petroleum. See: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sasol and www.sasol.com/
Sandton, where it is located, is the new 'hub' of South Africa's Financial and Commercial system. It has numerous new buildings and architectural wonders under construction, or already constructed. It is said to be the wealthiest 'square mile' (or now miles!) om the African continent.
AKA In A Family Way - kinda sorta, lol. This is a rework of a very old photo. Right now I am really busy with some projects and needing to be offline, but wanted to get this up in time for Father's Day. Will see you all again ASAP.
To all you Dad's out there, wishing you a wonderful Father's Day, and to everyone else, hope you have a lovely weekend.
