In these paintings, I experimented with masking tape and acrylic paint, placing the tape onto the paper at different angles and then applying the paint. When the paint was dry, the tape was removed. More tape was applied and the process repeated until the desired result was reached. The blue painting had a gloss varnish coat applied to test its durability.
