The DIY is on my blog.

I ordered a few fun things off of Etsy. I found some Happy Tape for Max to work on some art projects. Happy tape is pretty much pretty masking tape. Most online shops were selling it for two to three times the price but Washimatta on Etsy is selling them at a fraction of a cost. I also bought a gift for a friend who is going to have a baby soon and some fat quarters for myself to make bandannas to wear in my unruly, in bewteen hair.

I love the seller's hand writing. And her little personal touches like the my name stamped letter. Reminds me of when I was younger and I had a pen pal who lived in France and I always admired her penmanship.

If you're curious, the shop is called Washimatta on Etsy.

I improvised a couple of speakers by attaching HVST.echnology audio exciters to 20" x 30" panels of 3/16" foamcore using 3M F9473PC VHB ("very high bond strength") tape. It didn't take long to discover that the soldered connections to clumsily stripped speaker wire were quite fragile: not the solder joints, but the wires. I added painter's masking tape as a strain relief, to intercept tension on the wires before it yanked on the connections. That was a robust low-budget solution.

Discoloration is an artifact of working too close to the film leader, trying to squeeze as many shots as possible on to a single roll of film.
