a local church lenten project to build a masking tape labyrinth - three generations together in the name of vibrant spiritual experience
They were marking-out a floor-plan for some new machinery at work and someone went crazy with the masking tape.

you have no idea how much i wanted to get some of this. i was looking at the gallery a few days ago, and i even had a dream involving this stuff....

This is probably the best photo to come out of this project yet.
I've never tried to comb tangles into my hair before. It was a funny experience. I did my best to make it look ratty and unpleasant, but no matter what I did, it seemed sort of stylish.
This is probably the first time in my life I have ever failed at having bad hair. Figure that.
Secret Seven: When I was little, I secretly wanted headgear.
Today I decorated my planner a little (I know, I know I said I won’t be posting too many photos of my planner on Fregoli. I promise not to (⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄) ) But more importantly I met with Laura and together with Andrzej we played Monopoly.
I didn’t take any picture of us actually playing because I was too busy threatening Andrzej with divorce because he wouldn’t give me the properties I needed to make a neighbourhood.
So it goes without saying that I suffered a spectacular loss, but at least I gave all my mortgaged properties to Laura to put to use and defeat him. Justice prevailed. (✧ω✧)
So yeah...good people. Do not play Monopoly unless you want to destroy your family. I am actually curious. Has any of you played Monopoly in nice and friendly way? What other board games you enjoy?

On Lothar Speer's mural in Lincoln Square are some yellow windows. One of the yellow windows now has a yellow ginkgo leaf on it. The house depicted with this window is a house in the Black Forest and Lake Constance.

I improvised a couple of speakers by attaching HVST.echnology audio exciters to 20" x 30" panels of 3/16" foamcore using 3M F9473PC VHB ("very high bond strength") tape. It didn't take long to discover that the soldered connections to clumsily stripped speaker wire were quite fragile: not the solder joints, but the wires. I added painter's masking tape as a strain relief, to intercept tension on the wires before it yanked on the connections. That was a robust low-budget solution.
Discoloration is an artifact of working too close to the film leader, trying to squeeze as many shots as possible on to a single roll of film.
I like the simplicity of the design on this composition. Primary colors, red, yellow, blue. All circles. Then there is just a bit of texture to make it a little more urban. The branch of the leaf is purposely positioned to make the curve of the circles.
Every Christmastime in Lincoln Square, they take out this huge wooden shoe for shoe donations and put it in Giddings Plaza on Lincoln Avenue. This year the show has a yellow ginkgo leaf on it.
Another pin hole of me on a set of steps just a sillouette.
Exposure was a little off due to timing my exposure correctly however forgetting to incorporate the time spent opening and closing shutter from my seated position hence a lot of pushing well pulling to be more correct in photoshop resulting in funny colour cast. I liked the cast though so kept it.
Band of dark was stratigically placed masking tape to darken a stripe of the paper.

One thing Clint likes to do with kittens is to put a roll of tape around their belly and see how long it takes them to wiggle free. It's part of kitten-desensitizing 101. Time to learn dexterity, Beavis! YouTube video of this HERE: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eXEmiJrKzU
