Found image. This road side stall is seling a wide range of fruit and vegetables especially cucumbers and marrows. I though at first it was an American image but since the word postcard is written on the back in a number of European languages I now think this is somewhere in continental Europe.

On Friday, April 29th, Fire Commissioner Daniel A. Nigro together with Christopher D. Hillyer, M.D., President and CEO of New York Blood Center (NYBC) and Howard P. Milstein, Chairman of NYBC’s Board of Trustees added the names of 8 FDNY bone marrow donors to the “Honor Roll of Life”. This year marks the 12th annual “Honor Roll of Life” induction ceremony for the New York City Fire Department - the single largest group of bone marrow and stem cell donors for NYBC.
Today’s ceremony also reunited two FDNY members, Firefighter Michael Wilson of Ladder 166 and Firefighter Fredrick Perdue of Engine 67 with their bone marrow recipients.

I found some long bone marrow at the grocery store and thought, what better pairing for the sack of great cured meats from Oyama than this? So cleaned marrow bones were placed on end and roasted for 18 min for 375degrees then finished off with fleur de sel. Sided by thinly sliced artisan bread, both my mouth and tummy were smiling. This was tasty HDL indeed!
As a healthcare provider, i was attracted to purchase this ceramic container with the description as above. The Ideal Food " Virol " - A preparation of BONE-MARROW, an ideal fat food for Children & Invalids.
