Used a Fomapan 200 film that expired in 2016. Shot it at 100 ISO to account for the expiration date. The film after developing still seems underexposed. Very little detail, lots of transparency in the shadows. Also the markings of the backingpaper shows in my negs. Still have some rolls left of this film though. Any advise on how many stops I should overexpose?

Before I start the pressing I mark the hem by runnning a line of stitching 5/8" from the raw edge.

Stick With Markings

The markings on this engaging critter are very distinctive... especially the split white eye ring, face, and underparts. Although we also have Tassle-eared Squirrels (Abert's) up here, this is by far the more common tree squirrel. This guy is competing with the Woodpeckers for the contents of the suet feeder... it'll likely get the lion's share!

This cypress stump served as a kind of "X marks the spot" landmark for us on the beach.
