the markings/ colors shown here definitely look like a typical trout, but this is the (abundant) Pink Salmon (Oncorhynchus gorbuscha). You can see the belly colors have mottled splotches that are a sure give-away that it is not a trout.

I lost count after a short while of these lack luster fish. they bite your fly softly and then they don't fight very well either. but they are better than getting a white skunk stripe painted down your back or better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

If I had been fishing a 4 weight - 9 foot rod I would of had a great time, instead of the 9 weight 15 foot Scott Spey rod I was wielding.

On the way to Sri Ram Temple at Sholay Hill, both side stones are marked like Tilak

hi everyone (✿◠‿◠)

I was in such a rut about these markings because i wanted something more interesting, yet related to christmas. SO I have decided to incorporate some of my ancestor pagan drawings which relate to Winter Solstice! It comes out at THE SUMMONING: KRAMPUS on the 13th!

INCLUDES: Omega applier (created with genus in-mind) & BOM with full markings and pieces, where you can mix and match <3

Hope you enjoy~ ♥

NO LM YET!

Butterfly with speckled wings.

Mr. Bobcat made sure we were watching as he clearly marked his territory. Once that was done, he pranced off down HIS trail. We were just visitors after all.

Iniochos exercise at Andravida, Greece. Special marked Greek F4E.

April 4, 2009. Atlanta, GA. Kickboxing tournament at Unit 2 Fitness in Altanta. Fighter watches action, marking time until her contest.

This one is my personal favorite -- think it's the mental prep look she has on her face.. Put other photos on the blog at www.rodandcone.com/2009/04/kickboxing-tourney-at-unit-2-f...

Mountain trail in the Swiss Alps... it must be magical there when the wild azaleas are in bloom. I put it on my ever-growing bucket list :-)

Plains Zebra mare and foal. The Plains Zebra is also known as the Common Zebra. All Zebras have individual markings with no two alike.

Is there a straight way from A to B? I guess not....

An impressive number of mission markings applied to the nose of F-16CJ Fighting Falcon 96-0083 which is assigned to the 480th Fighter Squadron based at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany.

Piles of rocks once used to mark trails.

This bedding Dahlia has come up with some strange petal markings this year. They have survived 5 winters now just left in the ground & never lifted. Proves how mild our winters have become.

We went camping in Ocotillo Wells Friday night out in the desert and played with some long exposures. It's always fun on a summer night to set up a tripod and use something like a cell phone or iPod to do some image writing.

This one my son Nathaniel did with his iPod Touch by walking around shining it on the ground, less than a foot off the ground.

30 second exposure.

'Vixen 2' seen here in glorious light through the Bwlch, the second of a pair of jets, the lead wore the lighter grey scheme and just 800 Naval Air Squadron markings, but this jet, 'Vixen 2'wore dual Naval Strike Wing markings of both 800 and 801 Naval Air Squadrons, the only time I managed to shoot a dual marked jet at low level.

I love these butterflies, I think their markings are beautiful. The Small Pearl-bordered Fritillary prefers damp grassland and everything is very wet this summer.

Britney wishing you a wonderful day ♥

cyclical and linear marking of time

A father and his daughter wait, perhaps for mom, at QV Mall in Melbourne.

I guess it is better to say that the dad is waiting since the kid has no concept of time or "later". Just "now". I find that fascinatiing.

My dog is simply amazing... hahaha i saw he was peeing and he looked so cute =)

A good theme to show off this beautiful wooden bookmark given to me by my daughter.
