Two brothers scent marking together.

The white marks are not rain or dust just a bit of backspray!!

what interesting markings and colours

Red pandas are small mammals with long, fluffy tails and red and white markings. Though they share a name with the more famous giant panda, they are not closely related. In fact, the name 'panda' was first applied to these animals, and shares the giant panda's rainy, high-altitude forest habitat, but has a wider range. Red pandas live in the mountains of Nepal and northern Myanmar (Burma), as well as in central China.

Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park is home to a wide range of small animals including the famous red pandas.

They are very cute and sweet these red pandas to see here!

The markings are to show where pipes and cables are laid underground to stop them being damaged when any excavation take place.

I recently accidentally batch edited several of my favorite images on my flickr and lost the favorites/gallery inclusions on them.....was very sad about it. Who knew that turning an image private and then back to public erased all of that info? :-(

You know how I said before that I would not upload any more ballerina photos? Well, it looks like I lied. But I just *had* to! Why? Because I'm selling my tutus on ebay and the auction ends in under 5 hours. You can read more about them on my blog or head straight to my ebay page if you would like! And remember, I'm not joking when I say that they are worn and handmade (therefore falling apart in places) and also very small in the waist. Thank you all x

I went on an early morning shoot today that involved dodging park rangers (as usual) and carrying a heavy bucket of water up a hill in the woods...came back very wet. Yesterday I was trying to build something extra special for a photo I've been planning for a month, and found that a $4 hand saw breaks like a piece of flimsy plastic when used on a stick. Anywho, at least I'm trying :P Happy Monday, everyone smile!!

the markings/ colors shown here definitely look like a typical trout, but this is the (abundant) Pink Salmon (Oncorhynchus gorbuscha). You can see the belly colors have mottled splotches that are a sure give-away that it is not a trout.

I lost count after a short while of these lack luster fish. they bite your fly softly and then they don't fight very well either. but they are better than getting a white skunk stripe painted down your back or better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

If I had been fishing a 4 weight - 9 foot rod I would of had a great time, instead of the 9 weight 15 foot Scott Spey rod I was wielding.

Thank you for your good wishes when I was poorly back in the summer and for all your kind comments

hi everyone (✿◠‿◠)

I was in such a rut about these markings because i wanted something more interesting, yet related to christmas. SO I have decided to incorporate some of my ancestor pagan drawings which relate to Winter Solstice! It comes out at THE SUMMONING: KRAMPUS on the 13th!

INCLUDES: Omega applier (created with genus in-mind) & BOM with full markings and pieces, where you can mix and match <3

Hope you enjoy~ ♥

Mountain trail in the Swiss Alps... it must be magical there when the wild azaleas are in bloom. I put it on my ever-growing bucket list :-)

The church hosts also a marking in the form of a meridian line inlaid in the paving of the left aisle in 1655; it was calculated and designed by the astronomer Giovanni Domenico Cassini, who was teaching astronomy at the University. A meridian line does not indicate the time: instead, with its length of 66.8 metres (219 ft) it is one of the largest astronomical instruments in the world, allowing measurements that were for the time uniquely precise. The sun light, entering through a 27.07 mm (1.066 in) hole placed at a 27.07 m (88.8 ft) height in the church wall, projects an elliptical image of the sun, which at local noon falls exactly on the meridian line and every day is different as to position and size. The position of the projected image along the line allows to determine accurately the daily altitude of the sun at noon, from which Cassini was able to calculate with unprecedented precision astronomical parameters such as the obliquity of the ecliptic, the duration of the tropical year and the timing of equinoxes and solstices. On the other hand, the size of the projected sun's image, and in particular its rate of variation during the year, allowed Cassini the first experimental verification of Kepler's laws of planetary motion.

Cassini and Domenico Guglielmini published an illustrated account of how the meridian line was accomplished in 1695.

We went camping in Ocotillo Wells Friday night out in the desert and played with some long exposures. It's always fun on a summer night to set up a tripod and use something like a cell phone or iPod to do some image writing.

This one my son Nathaniel did with his iPod Touch by walking around shining it on the ground, less than a foot off the ground.

The Shuttleworth Collection display featuring the Gloster Gladiator, Hawker Hurricane, and Supermarine Spitfire demonstrates the rapid, radical evolution of RAF fighter design. Remarkably, these three iconic aircraft entered Royal Air Force service within roughly an 18-month window of one another, bridging the transition from open-cockpit biplanes to high-speed monoplanes.
