Leadenhall Market is a covered market in London, England, located on Gracechurch Street but with vehicular access also available via Whittington Avenue to the north and Lime Street to the south and east, and additional pedestrian access via a number of narrow passageways.
It is one of the oldest markets in London, dating from the 14th century, and is located in the historic centre of the City of London financial district.
Biel/Bienne old town market place. Usually on saturday mornings this place is full of market stalls.
During holidays I went back to London to visit a friend and took a few hours to find nice spot and take some pictures.
These two shots are from the Leadenhall Market, one of the oldest covered market of the city, dating from the 14th century. I will post more photos from London in the next few days, but I thought these were a good place to start for they make me think of some places in Milan you can see in my stream.
This handsome building needs a good pressure washing. It was just east of here where I first saw Moondog, a bit of a local legend in Wheeling.
