Borough Market, London, England, UK

At the Pike Market - Fish Market this was the highlight of the trek. This awful fish with mouth wide open and teeth shining was somehow attached to a string that the staff would occasionally pull to make the fish move. The unsuspecting tourist, usually a kid, would then be startled by the fish's movement and everyone got a good laugh out of it. This place was a show in itself. The orders for fish were taken by a couple of guys in front of the counter and they would then pick up the fish and throw them to the back to be packaged and either taken by the customer of shipped back home packed in dry ice. Smelly but fun.

Sunrise was short but beautiful at Market Lake near Roberts, Idaho. The Menan Buttes are on the right framing the distant Teton peaks.

(Dutch: Markthal) The building is a residential and office building with a market hall underneath. The building has a glass facade on both gables; these are made up of smaller glass windows. All of these are hung around a structure of steel cables, 34 metres high and 42 metres wide, which makes it the largest glass-window cable structure in Europe.

Smoke from the BBQ meat partially obscures the busy market scene on a rainy day at Coc Ly market, near Sa Pa, North Vietnam. Flower Hmong women with their colourful traditional attire and their babies on their backs are a common site at the market, as are the BBQ stands and the hordes of motorcycles.

The magic show always grabs the kids! Don’t see much magic at the market anymore.
