Allgemein: Der Parker 61 ist der direkte Nachfolger des "51". Die Entwicklung des revolutionären Kapillarfüllers hat Parker ein Vermögen gekostet. Der "saubere" Füllmechanismus kommt ohne bewegliche Teile aus und macht sich die Kapillarkraft zu nütze. Der Tintenbehälter ist mir Teflon beschichtet und reinigt sich nach dem Befüllen selbst.
Bemerkung: Interessanterweise wurde bei diesem Modell das Thema des "Double Jewel" (siehe Parker "51" Vacumatic DJ und SJ) wieder aufgenommen.

I'm neither a typical collector of stamps, nor a stamp dealer. I'm only a stamp photograph. I'm fascinated of the fine close-up structures which are hidden in this small stamp-pictures. Please don't ask of the worth of these stamps - the most ones have a worth of a few cents or still less.
By the way, I wanna say thank you to all flickr users who have sent me stamps! Great! Thank you! Someone sent me 3 or 5 stamps, another one sent me more than 20 stamps in a letter. It's everytime a great surprise for me and I'm everytime happy to get letters with stamps inside from you!

One of the colour plates in the July 1929 issue of Commercial Art magazine. This poster, designed by Austrian artist Ernst Ludwig Franke (1886 - 1948) is for Tee-Kanne tea - "In every household" - and this is, I suspect the German concern of Teekanne that was founded in Dresden in 1882. it was purchased by two employees, Eugen Nissle and Rudolf Anders, in 1892 and remains in business today.
I took the kids to school with the sled. On my way back, I shot some pictures :)
Luckily, I shoot in RAW(+JPEG): I forgot about the Flash exposure compensation I had set for the 'Swirling glitter' pictures. All images were pretty dark, but easily recovered in ufraw.
Most winter/snow pictures are deliberately blue-ish, but I like a warmer color

Produziert in China, ist europäisches Design kennzeichnend für Troxus - es stammt von Kiska aus Salzburg, wo auch KTM Sportmotorräder gestaltet werden

Yvan Theys (Marke, 1936 - Warcoing, 2005) was a Belgian painter, draftsman, graphic artist and sculptor. His early work is abstract. His work is influenced by the Cobra group and in the 1960s he was one of the founders of the new figuration, a movement that seeks a new vision on the relationship between abstraction and figuration. As a sculptor, he created expressionist painted wooden sculptures. In his later visual language, the human figures become increasingly twisted and fragmented, while the psychic charge becomes more explicit.
This work can be admired at the Middelheim campus of the University of Antwerp.

Zijn werk ondergaat invloed van de Cobra-groep en hij behoorde in de jaren 1960 tot de grondleggers van de nieuwe figuratie, een stroming die een nieuwe visie op de relatie tussen abstractie en figuratie zoekt. Creëert als beeldhouwer expressionistische beschilderde houten sculpturen. In zijn latere beeldtaal worden de menselijke figuren steeds meer verwrongen en gefragmenteerd, terwijl de psychische geladenheid steeds explicieter aanwezig is.
Dit werk kan bewonderd worden op de campus Middelheim van de Universeit van Antwerpen.

En tant que sculpteur, il crée des sculptures en bois peintes expressionnistes. Dans sa langage visuel ultérieure, les figures humaines deviennent de plus en plus tordues et fragmentées, tandis que la charge psychique devient plus explicite.
Cette œuvre peut être admirée au Campus Middelheim de l'Université d'Anvers.

Zwei ET 1440 der Mitteldeutschen Regiobahn, einer Marke der Bayerischen Oberlandbahn für den SPNV im E-Netz Mittelsachsen, waren im Frühjahr 2016 für einige Wochen im Oberland zu Gast: Sie ersetzten die beiden zerstörten ET 1430 des Meridian bis zur Ankunft der Ersatzgarnitur von National Express. Das Bild zeigt einen der beiden "Coradia Continental" bei Föching auf dem Weg nach Kreuzstraße.

In spring 2016 two Alstom Coradia Continental class 1440 EMUs temporarily replaced two Stadler Flirt class 1430 EMUs that were wrecked in a fatal head-on collision at Bad Aibling in early 2016. The class 1440 EMUs came from Mitteldeutsche Regiobahn, a subdivision of Bayerische Oberlandbahn who also services the Meridian where the accident occured. As pictured, BOB/MRB 1440 202 is heading towards Rosenheim at Foching.
