Erdal produced "Red Frog Brand" (Marke Rotfrosch) shoe and leather polish, while Kwak was a maker of floor wax (Bohnerwachs). Together they put out a series of Great War cards in the late twenties.

The infantrymen are quite accurately portrayed, while the flamethrower squad is more impressionistic.

Since the Treaty of Versailes had banned German flamethrowers in 1920, the card artist may not have had access to the weapon and therefore fudged its appearance.

Diese beiden Steckerleis-Sorten der kroatischen Speiseeis-Marke Ledo versüßten uns die Badeaufenthalte am Strand Amarin nahe Rovinj. Mehrmals holten wir uns von der Strand-Bar den King Harmony mit Pistazie und Heidelbeer unter Vanille-Glasur (für mich) und den Macho Cokolada & Naranca mit Orangenmark, Schokolade und knuspriger Schoko-Nogger-Glasur (für Ursula). Diese wohlschmeckenden Zusammensetzungen kenne ich von den in Österreich verfügbaren Speiseeis-Marken Langnese/Eskimo und Schöller nicht, würde mich aber auch in Österreich sehr darüber freuen.

These two ice cream lolly flavours from the Croatian ice cream brand Ledo sweetened our beach holidays at Amarin beach near Rovinj. We went to the beach bar several times to get the King Harmony with pistachio and blueberry under vanilla icing (for me) and the Macho Cokolada & Naranca with orange pulp, chocolate and crunchy chocolate nougat icing (for Ursula). I am not familiar with these flavoursome combinations from the Langnese/Eskimo and Schöller ice cream brands available in Austria, but I would be very happy to have them in Austria too.

Located on the Via Calzaiuoli in Florence, the church was originally built as a grain marke in 1337 by Francesco Talenti, Neri di Fioravante, and Benci di Cione. Between 1380 and 1404 it was converted into a church used as the chapel of Florence's powerful craft and trade guilds.

On the ground floor of the square building are the 13th-century arches that originally formed the loggia of the grain market. The second floor was devoted to offices, while the third housed one of the city's municipal grain storehouses, maintained to withstand famine or siege. Late in the 14th century, the guilds were charged by the city to commission statues of their patron saints to embellish the facades of the church.

The sculptures seen today are copies, the originals having been removed to museums

After pouring herself a cup of coffee, Tamara got started on all the last minute fixes that were needed for tonight's performance of Panther and the Crane. While she replaced some Velcro on several costumes I started laying in the sketch for the room. Quite honestly I was a bit overwhelmed, every square inch of space was crammed full of interesting visual details. I took a deep breath and got started. I had to assume she would later be working on the contraption sitting on the high stool.

The device she was working on was to be worn over the shoulders by a puppeteer sort of like a base drum in a marching band. Tamara started hot gun gluing leaves to the shoulder supports. She burnt her fingers a couple of times and said " This is why I usually don't use a hot gun." I couldn't really tell what it was I was sketching, but she explained that it was a nest and sticking out of the nest was a shell with a young chick inside. In the sketch you can only see the chicks wing and a small stick which I presume controls the chicks head movements. Tamara actually took a moment out of her hectic day to show me some of her own sketches. They were amazing! The sketches had twisted organic ink line work and vibrant color, they had a touch of the macabre and yet were very playful. After everything was glued and set, Craig came back with the car from an errand and it was time for them to load the repaired items back into the car and head down to the History Center where rehearsals were going on all day right up until moments before the show at 7:30PM...

Ein erstes Versuchsmodell, E1A ( reines Straßenfahrzeug ) genannt, war bereits im Jahr 1958 fahrbereit darauf folgte

- der Prototyp E2A , 1960 auf die Rennstrecke.

- Speziell für Rennen wurde eine Aluminiumversion des E-Type konstruiert. Mit einer leistungsstärkeren Version der 3,8-Liter-Maschine kam der Rennwagen unter anderem in Le Mans und Sebring zum Einsatz.

Damit beschleunigt der E-Type in ca. 7 Sekunden auf 100 km/h und erreicht eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 241 km/h.

Im September 1974 endete die Produktion des E-Type, was jedoch erst 1975 bekannt gegeben wurde. 15.508 Exemplare mit 3,8-Liter-Motor, 41.734 mit 4,2-Liter und 15.293 V12-Modelle wurden gebaut.
