Look, I know this is different for me, but here me out.
My little cousin is having a birthday party today, and he LOVES Mario. He also loves Legos (who doesn’t?). Me and my three bros. decided to make his own Mario Lego sets. This was the result. It splits into four “mini-sets” and all connect to make a full level. Minifigs include Mario, Luigi, Bowser (brick built), two Goombas and three Koopas.
I really hope he likes his present, and I hope you guys like the build!

YR10 BDX is a Scania N230UD/Optare Omnidekka new as Nottingham City Transport in August 2010 as their number 995.
It later joined the Beestons of Hadleigh fleet in June 2022 before joining the Mario, Barrowford fleet in September 2022.
It carried the M25 RYO plate for a period before reverting to its original plate. It is seen here at Piccadilly Gardens on a Metrolink tram replacement service.
I'm on a roll these days making Mario amigurumi! :P

I thought this would be a simple scrap-busting project, but word to the wise, these tiny squares (1" finished) take up a lot more seam allowance than you'd think! Inefficiently, I ended up making multiple trips as I needed more solid fabrics, and you can see that I cheated by using multiple prints for the background on some blocks.
And now that I've gotten that out of the way, I can say that I really love this quilt/wall-hanging. These digital graphic-type things just translate so well to patchwork; it's just great and so rewarding!
I fused the squares to interfacing and then sewed them together; the process created a lot of bulk (I admit, I did not cut the seams to iron them flat. I really couldn't be bothered with that, on that scale, around Christmas-time!) I used polyester batting that I had kicking around. The backing doesn't really match the front, but I used large scraps of subtle (mellow) yellow, green, blue, brown and grey. I then bound the whole thing with a Kona blue (Calypso or something?) and Habitat...So I guess I did use up a lot of scraps, yeah!
A pair of simple MOCs uncovered while cleaning ... based on the Amiibo released for the 30th Anniversary of their respective games, these are 3D representation of the 2D sprites of Mario from Super Mario Bros. and Link from The Legend of Zelda.
