Once an alien space marine known as Giord sought to venture beyond the gass giant. He wore a suit created to withstand the most dangerous atmospheres and layed seige to many planets throughout the galaxy. Despite countless failed attempts Goird believed that by obtaining an entity known Gwengu its influence would grant him insane strength thus aiding him in endless conquests. According to legends the dangerous entity illunminated from the darkest raccesses of Jupiter and was believed to corrupt any who attempt to force their way upon its home. A fateful meeting with the two allowed Gwengu to truely break away from the distastrious atmosphere fusing with the Aliens hide. The Infested Space Marine was not killed but instead lost his sanity giving into the entity when he could control it no longer.

"The Minnesota Marine Art Museum is the product of vision, inspiration and generosity. The Museum features four galleries of world-class art and artifacts and is located in a unique building and picturesque setting on the banks of the Mississippi River. Along with the new gallery featuring Impressionism and Hudson River School artists, the MMAM exhibits marine art rotating from one of the finest private collections in the country. Visitors can also view whimsical folk art from the Leo Smith Collection and images of the Mississippi River by 19th century photographer Henry Bosse. In addition, there are over 60,000 native plants and grasses to stroll and enjoy along the riverwalk. Each visit will provide new education opportunities and enlightening experiences. "

Two female marine iguanas fight each other over limited nesting sites. Males often fight over territory but sometimes in certain locations where nesting spots are scarce females will engage in combat as well to protect their buried eggs.
Looked like the potential for a half decent sunset tonight. Hightide was a good few hours away so decided to have my first attempt at shooting Marine Lake.

"Down came the storm, and smote amain
The vessel in its strength;
She shuddered and paused, like a frighted steed,
Then leaped her cable's length.
"Come hither! come hither! my little daughter,
And do not tremble so;
For I can weather the roughest gale
That ever wind did blow."
He wrapped her warm in his seaman's coat
Against the stinging blast;
He cut a rope from a broken spar,
And bound her to the mast.
"O father! I hear the church bells ring,
Oh, say, what may it be?"
"Tis a fog-bell on a rock bound coast!" --
And he steered for the open sea.
"O father! I hear the sound of guns;
Oh, say, what may it be?"
Some ship in distress, that cannot live
In such an angry sea!"
"O father! I see a gleaming light.
Oh say, what may it be?"
But the father answered never a word,
A frozen corpse was he."
