Manakara (Madagascar) – J’ai fréquenté de nombreux marchés à travers le monde. Celui de Manakara sur la côte sud-est de Madagascar est incontestablement l’un de mes préférés. Il y règne ici une ambiance que l’on ne retrouve nulle part ailleurs.

Manakara (Madagascar) – I've visited many markets around the world. The one in Manakara on Madagascar's southeast coast is undoubtedly one of my favorites. There's an atmosphere here that you won't find anywhere else.
Kampong-Chhnang (Cambodge) - On vient surtout à Kampong-Chhnang pour son village flottant. Mais cette ville mérite qu’on s’y attarde une peu. En tout cas, on y trouvera aisément matière à photographies. Je recommande le marché permanent. Il est facile à trouver, la ville n’est pas très grande. C’est justement sur ce marché que les trois photos présentées aujourd’hui ont été réalisées. Je pense qu'elles se passent de commentaires.

Kampong-Chhnang (Cambodia) - People mainly come to Kampong-Chhnang for its floating village. But this city deserves our attention. In any case, the photographer will find there interesting scenes to photograph. I recommend the permanent market. It’s easy to find, the city is not that big. It is precisely in this market that the three photos presented today were taken. I think they speak for themselves.
I picked this bouquet for this flower specifically so I figured it would only be appropriate to showcase it in a photo.

It is a nice little hike up here if you are a nonsmoker. If you are a smoker you'll be huffing and puffing to the top. I passed a smoker and he sounded like a freight train lol After making it to Emerald Lake which was my targeted goal for the day (a good call because It was awesome!) I thought it would feel great to get the blood flowing and take a quick snap. Of all the lakes Peyto had the most foot traffic, but the trees smelled amazing!
A wonderful day in March when all the elements combined to make a beautiful crashing wave in the Solent .The elements are wind strength wind direction and the height of the tide. Not many days during the year that this happens.
Ambalavao (Madagascar) - Deux fois par semaine, les mercredis et les jeudis, Ambalavao accueille le deuxième plus grand marché aux zébus du pays. L’occasion pour la ville du Sud d’organiser le plus grand marché aux fruits et légumes de la région. Cette scène du "quartier des pastèques" a été prise à deux pas de mon hôtel, vers 6h15, et les rues étaient déjà très animées.
Watermelon Corner
Ambalavao (Madagascar) - Twice a week, on Wednesdays and Thursdays, Ambalavao hosts the second largest zebu market in the country. The opportunity for the southern city to organize the largest fruit and vegetable market in the region. This scene of the "watermelon district" was taken a stone's throw from my hotel, around 6:15 a.m., and the streets were already very lively.
I actually went outside to get a photo of the pigeons gathered in the yard but they were being camera shy today; luckily a bit of seed and this guy decided to pose for me, although he wasn't too sure what I was up to or why.
Bonus points to those who can spot the red squirrel hiding in the bokeh!

Planted aconites in my garden borders last year didn't think any of them had taken but this little lovely proved me wrong, guess this one liked the shady side of the garden. For the Looking close..on Friday theme 'Flora in March'
