A walk in March brings very unpredictable weather, but the greening of the new leaves and grasses is thrilling to behold.

"It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade." ~ Charles Dickens

We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories. Some take us forward, they're called dreams. Jeremy Irons

Taken from a field just beyond the Iron Age Ramparts in Ham Hill Country Park, South Somerset. The Ramparts give extensive views over the Somerset countryside, towards the Dorset Hills on the horizon. Dramatic clouds lit by the evening sun add to the scene.

Alle Jahre wieder. Das Frühjahr scharrt "mit den Füßen". Dieses Jahr möchte ich der Landschaftsfotografie mehr Aufmerksamkeit widmen.

I hope to find more interesting landscape motifs this year.

A shot taken along the shores of the Thames river here in London Ontario earlier this week. We had an overnight snowfall and I wanted to capture some images with the snow still on the limbs of the trees. It was overcast for the most part but the clouds parted and the sun came out for a few minutes allowing me to capture this photo with a little better light. Thanks for viewing and hope you enjoy!!

It doesn't do this every year here, but it does snow a lot in March.
