Many time the County has their own Topography that we can purchase for a site which again gives more details as to specific exisitng conditions.
On paper, it's at least 25 miles I biked yesterday but seeing as using MS Maps to try and chart this doesn't take into account a lot of off shoots and long cuts I took, There's no way I did less than 30 miles, not including many places I had to walk my bike through that can't be mapped because they weren't actual streets. Again, this is the BEST way to get around DC. I had no intentions of moving around so much in one morning but every time I figured I'd stop, I wasn't ever tired out. DC is relativly flat so there aren't a lot of hills to go up or down as you go.

this enormous tiled map of the lancashire and yorkshire railway covers one entrance wall of victoria train station in manchester. It looks like it's old enough to be an original fixture but I'm no expert! All I know is that it's absolutely beautiful and very special and I'm glad it's still there.

The so-called Gough Map is the earliest surviving map of Britain dating from c.1360. It’s origins are unknown and owes it name to, Richard Gough (1735-1809), in whose collection it was found. This extract is from the OS 1935 facsimile which is reasonably legible. The original is coloured and is in the Bodleian Library, Oxford but is much less legible.

YCM (Youth Conference Ministries) commissioned Widgets & Stone to design their 2007 View book (describing the various conferences and camps they offer)... after having their identity redesigned by Metaleap in Atlanta.
Basing the concept of the view book on the new postage stamp-like logos and the idea of summer camp, road trips and traveling, Widgets & Stone proposed a design using actual life-size, collaged imagery for each spread.
The tabloid size mailer was printed with highly economical newsprint.
