Trees - Acer pensylvanicum (moosewood), A. saccharum (Sugar maple), A. rubrum (Red maple), Fraxinus americana (White ash), Tilia americana (Basswood) and shrubs: Hamamelis virginiana (Witch-hazel), Carpinus caroliniana (Ironwood) and herbs: Carex spp. (Sedge species), Maianthemum canadense (Canada mayflower), Smilacina racemosa (Solomon's seal), Polystichum acrostichoides (Christmas fern) in an amazingly intact forest.
