Undated BLM map of Cowiche Canyon. This was the most recent map available from the Spokane BLM office in 2011. I didn't find it online, but thought it was useful so I'm posting this scan. Hi-res available if you "view all sizes"
Google Maps as a whole worked surprising well. Missing about half the features of the regular version, but does have search, traffic, street view. Could not find "Compass Mode" though :(

Summary
Very detailed map of the United States west of the Mississippi River indicating drainage, relief by hachures, cities and towns, forts, trails, wagon roads, and routes of exploration. An important map of western expansion, it utilized and lists 45 major exploration and mapping reports from the Lewis & Clark to the U.S. General Land Office Surveys.

This is the back of a bus map and schedule. I want to go back and paste a sticker that says: God is the sum aggregate total of the effects of all life on Earth. Novas exploded and the starstuff coalesced in a disk around our sun. Stromatolites reproduced in the harsh early atmosphere and through the carbon-oxides scrubbing process of their life over eons oxygenated the air so much that the seas became saturated and the suspension of iron rusted and precipitated to the ocean floor making way for the explosion of life which resulted in you - a starstuff manifestation of the universe to examine itself and manifest god, and save the earth we now know by reducing your carbon footprint and riding this bus."

Map put out by the city of Yubari showing recent bear sightings (I think during July of this year). Apparently there is a hoard of bears infesting Yubari. Essentially, the text is saying, "if you like bears, visit Yubari!" Fortunately, when Naomi and I lived in Yubari, we didn't see any bears - just lots of signs of bears...
North is to the left and Lake Shuparo is at the top.

The blue overlay is the proposed project footprint. The yellow overlay are the buildings that remain within the footprint. Some are vacant, the rest are still occupied by owners and tenants.
This Bing Maps Beta bird's eye view is more recent (late 2008?) than the maps of the footprint's west end, mid section and east end, and therefore it shows the vacant lots which where buildings used to stand.

We went around Bainbridge Island clockwise. We got to Brownsville on Saturday by 1:30 pm. There wasn't enough air to sail through the channel to Seattle on Sunday. So we motored back.
Visualization of Flickr geotagged photos, uploaded between 2007 to 2015 and geotagged with the highest accuracy (street-level). I generated a number of different visualizations. Some are more artistic in style while others are designed more informative.
This type of visualization has been done years before (check out Eric Fischer's maps). Maybe the statistics going on on the lower-right corner provide some additional information not available so far.

Map of Alicane, Bus Station, Alicante, Spain
The bus station of Alicante was built between 1943-47. It reminded me the old bus station of Budapest. The concrete building was designed by Felix de Azua. There was a subterranean pedestrian pass to the buses no longer in use today.
The two murals were painted by Gaston Castello Bravo. They offer an idealized cultural synthesis of the region and the city.
I arrived and departed several times from the bus station in Alicante in 1993. Sometimes I was in a hurry - the lady in the ticket booth normally entered into deep conversations on the company phone with a loved one 5 minutes before the departure. (There were no mobile phones then.)
I made a couple of photos of the station, many of them are hiding somewhere in Budapest.
