This is an event that is held every year in cities across the world. At the same time groups across the world board the underground/tube/subway trains and remove their trousers/skirts ONLY. They then ride the trains for an hour on different lines behaving as if there is nothing wrong. This is all done for fun and everyone involved behaves in a proper manner - just without their lower outer garments.
This beautiful #painting depicts a young #woman who is willing to make friends and wanted to make a social life. The #artist has beautifully painted the emotion on the lady with the help of #acrylic_colours on canvas.

Standing apart from the somewhat triumphal and Roman manner of most of Washington, the memorial takes the severe form of a Greek Doric temple. It is "peripteral," with 36 massive columns, each 37 feet (10 m) high, surrounding the cella of the building itself, which rises above the porticos. As an afterthought, the 36 columns required for the design were seen to represent the 25 U.S. states at the time of Lincoln's death, as well as the 11 seceded states, and their names were inscribed in the entablature above each column in the order that each state joined the Union (along with the year of their joining in Roman numerals). The names of the remaining 22 states that had joined the Union when the memorial was completed are carved on the exterior attic walls in the same manner. A plaque in front of the monument commemorates the admission of Alaska and Hawaii in 1959.
Performed by our local secondary school drama class, with each part being taken by several actors throughout the evening. The performance began outdoors after the manner of the Globe, but was forced indoors half-way through by rain. An excellent evening's entertainment.

Zum Beispiel, dass die offenen Mofa-TucTucs wesentlich teurer sind als eine Fahrt im klimatisiertem Taxi, das als Nebeneffekt auch noch das Bad in frischen Abgasen erspart. Oder, dass dicke, alte weiße Männer um den halben Erdball fliegen, um sich von zarten Thaimädchen im eben erst erreichten sexualfähigen Alter beglücken zu lassen ...
In schummrigen Bars einschlägiger Viertel wie Soi Cowboy, die mittlerweile zum Sightseeing-Pflichtprogramm gehören, hocken sie auf arenengleich angeordneten Bänken und lassen sich die Vorzüge der wie Frischware an den Stangen tänzelnden Mädels auf den Augen zergehen, mit Gehabe von Königen und der Würde eines Regenwurms. Ein Wink, und das Mädel gehört ihnen für die Nacht, und man mag sich die grotesken Szenen des Folgenden wirklich nicht bildlich vorstellen. Not trifft auf Not, ein Deal, vielleicht sogar ein fairer, denn er dient wohl wesentlich eher der Völkerverständigung als die Aktionen dicker, alter weißer Männer, die auf Not nur Bomben abzuwerfen wissen. Immerhin entstehen hier eine Menge Ehen, in die zumindest eine Seite eine Menge Emotionen zu stopfen hat. Vorher gilt es aber gut abzuklären, ob man nicht einen der traumfraugleichen Ladyboys erwischt hat ...

Former parish church. C12, extended C13, partly rebuilt C14, restored.1875 and 1922. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings under a machine-tile roof. Shingled bell-cote to west end has a small broach spire. Two naves and two chancels, under one roof, with a south porch. North nave and chancel in one, C12, have to north wall a large lancet and a small C12 window with semi-circular head. Towards west end a blocked door of C12 with semi-circular head and chamfered jambs. West window is of two trefoiled lights with a circular window above. East window of two pointed lights under a two-centred head. South nave and chancel in one, C13, with-two lancets. South porch is of timber and C15. Outer entrance has an arch-braced tie-beam. The south door has chamfered jambs and a two-centred head. The west window is of two trefoiled lights under a square head, the east window is of three pointed lights with intersecting tracery under a two-centred head with an ogee point.
Interior has a central arcade of three bays. This has two-centred arches of two chamfered orders on circular piers with moulded capitals and base. The eastern respond rebuilt in C15 has a rectangular stone structure with crenellated cornice over a recess with moulded jambs and square head. Two tomb recesses in north wall. That to east has a moulded ogee arch with label and head stops. Set in recess effigies of a knight and his wife, probably early C14. The recess to the west has a segmental pointed arch, over mid-C14 stone effigies. Roof is probably C15 of two bays with wall-posts reaching to floor and intermediate trusses. Western truss has a tie-beam, and arch-braced collar which forms a part of the bell-cote structure. The intermediate truss is supported on corbels. The collar is arch-braced and is further supported by a crown-post resting on the top of the arcade. The central truss is similar with moulded tie-beam, and the screens are framed into the wall-posts. The second intermediate truss is similar to the other. The eastern truss has tie-beam, arch-braced collar, crown-post and V-struts in apex. Four tiers of purlins, the upper two with curved wind-braces, the lower two with cusped wind-braces. The second purlin up is square-set, not in the slope of the roof, and the principal rafter stops at the collar, in the manner of a base cruck, although the principals are straight. The screens each have three bays, the central one containing the door, the outer bays having three openings with ogee trefoil heads and tracery.
