A few of the magnets I made for the in-out board at work -- altogether there are over 50. This is my holiday gift for folks at work
One day one of my favorite young-at-heart customers came in and said she just heard a quote that she liked and she recited the above. I decided then and there that I would make her a magnet - it's been months (cuz that's how I roll) so I hope she remembers having shared this with me!

This magnet was Anna's. Some days I'm so moody I have to take it over. We seem to frequent this mood. This time was me. Wasn't the best afternoon. Alas, tomorrow is another mood for another day.
I make these magnets from old wooden poker chips that I paint and then add bits of scrap paper to create mini pieces of art. I then draw the details on each one and seal them for shine and durability.
For our recycle day class we created these little pebble magnets and little itty bitty boxes from our old Christmas cards.

This might be the most excited I have been about a project in a long time. As I was searching for things to do with my 5-year old for the summer, I ran across some business card sized magnets. I asked him if he wanted to draw pictures on cardstock that I would cut for him and we could place them on the magnets to give to people. Then the lightbulb went off...why don't I "draw" pictures on cardstock and make my own magnets?!!? I thought I could brighten up my 'fridge for the summer first, so this is my first set. I can see these being tucked into Get Well cards, Thinking of You cards, Thank You cards, Birthday cards....oh - I am excited...please excuse my dorkiness!
(I colored them with gel pens to give them some funkiness!)
