Update 19/11/2019;
Its truly astounding how popular this little photo is with 740 views and 166 faves with 37 comment and all within the space of two days! It hasnt even been added to even one group which I think proves a point that they dont count for much really and friends count for a lot more!. Mike Freethy, my friend, who took the photo is truly amazed as I am myself, for I only edited it slightly as Mike had returned back home to the States.
There is indeed something very special about this tiny little waterfall. For me, its to do with the fact that it is only a temporary thing and only appears here after extremely heavy rain. I am certain that it has disappeared now but it will be back shortly, as soon as another storm breaks out over the wild and beautiful Glenealo Valley here in the Wicklow mountains. The fascinating thing is that every time it returns, Im certain that it would look slightly slightly different as the water could follow a slightly differing routes on its way to the valley floor depending on the weather etc and I find that fascinating and very inspiring.
Thanks you!
You too are all amazing!

My good friend Michael Freethy took this wonderful picture when we were hiking here in October. Its truly magical. I did a bit of editing on it but not very much as its pretty perfect. I would say that its one of the most beautiful photos Ive ever seen. When we were up there a sudden storm came in over the valley and after it had passed, these little rivers and waterfalls appeared out of nowhere. Lots of them would be overflowing out of the old mine shafts. Within a few hours they have disappeared until the next thunder storm.
I love the tiny micro climate that it creates and its obvious that the little ferns and rock lichens depend on these sudden showers for their survival. I think the long exposure is perfect considering that Michael took this as a hand held shot.Dont know how he did that!
Another thing that strikes me are the spooky white figures that appear in the little falls, with many ghostly faces peering out at you and the way the greenery can be still be seen through the water.Surely, it is in places like this that the little people live.
Michael and myself have decided to use the photos that we took, between us and Id like to see another version of this from him. Do have a look at his photos! Super stuff! Hes more Irish than me [ well, almost! ] especially when hes at a music session in the pub in Carlingford!

I was exploring in the Wonderland 2 Which is one of my favorite. sims, when I saw this lovely magical scene and just had to take this photo. I used depth of field to make the strooms stand out more in the photo.
Not a magic mushroom (well actually I don't know)...but quite magical in the sunlight! During our walk at Fernworthy reservoir we passed a fantastic looking stretch of woodland. I scrambled up the slope and found myself in a small fairy tale wonderland. The old gnarly trees were all covered in thick moss and I almost bumped into this little mushroom growing out of a branch of one of the trees. I took a few photos that show the branch as well but in the end I chose this shot because of the nice backlight.
