Hamurana Springs Nature Reserve
Hamurana Springs is a magical riverside walk through 100-year-old redwood trees that gives you direct access to the deepest natural fresh water spring in the North Island of New Zealand.
WhaleBack Lighthouse.It was-10 below and the conditions were just right. I was lucky not to have frozen my fingers.

We enjoyed the walk up from Schliersee to the "Schliersbergalm".There is a breathtaking view.
The surrounding valley and hills were all covered in snow.
