Our B4 Magic Adapter allows you to mount B4 lenses on Blackmagic Micro Four Thirds mount cameras and includes an optic that enlarges the image circle of your B4 lens to fit on a Super 16 or similar sized sensor. It also works on the Panasonic GH4 in certain settings. Head on over to our Fotodiox YouTube channel and search B4 Magic to learn more about this adapter.
The forests around the small town of Irrel, in the western part of Germany are stunning in this time of the year. I had the chance to spend a few hours walking around the area and was truly taken by the quiet beauty of this place.
On the technical side, I used again my Sigma 35mm 1.4 wide open to produce this panorama. I just love the feeling of the resulting image even if it's not sharp corner to corner as I usually try with most landscape photographs.
Sadly one of our favourite places is undergoing quite a change, not unlike another that we frequent. The rot made it impossible to count the rings but I wouldn't be surprised if they numbered close to 100.
So long old friend...
These toy soldiers in the hub at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom make great photo subjects. They're much easier to photograph than the (moving) ones in the parade, too!

Well, I did manage to take this photo during the Magic Hour when the light was really lovely. So, maybe not twilight but as close as I could to that twilight hour!
Our Daily Challenge ~ Twilight ....
Thanks to everyone who views this photo, adds a note, leaves a comment and of course BIG thanks to anyone who chooses to favourite my photo .... Thanks to you all.
My mom used to make a chocolate pudding cake when I was little that always seemed so amazing to me. She'd pull it out of the oven and I'd wait to see if it separated into a layer of pudding and cake (it always did) and clap. So when I saw this, I had to try it. It does seem like magic to take normal cake ingredients, treat them a little differently, and have them turn into something so different.
It reminds me of a Dutch Baby filled with custard, so if that sounds good, get on it and make one!
PS: I really loaded this with vanilla. My homemade extract looked a little weak so I scraped some vanilla seeds into the batter. It's very vanilla-y and delicious.
Magic Hole- There was very low water level on that day at South end on sea.... was walking under the sea.... found this magic!! hole... as soon as I reached close enough. more than twenty crabs quickly vanished into it....

This is about growth, never giving up, positive thinking, encouraging people pushing you forward, the beginning of a new day and a bit of magic also.
You may recognize this wood from some of my late 365days images. It felt great to be back in this location.

Trentepohlia is the name of the vegetation. Although the plants are classified as green algae, the color is due to an orange pigment. This pigment covers the green color known as chlorophyll. This vegetation is often found in the geothermal area WAI-O-TAPU.

Not only is this SOOC but I didn't even crop it. Think its the first time ever that I have had a photo come up on screen and I went WOW.
When I was walking into the village I passed this tree and happened to glance up at it and I thought they look interesting.
NOOOOO I didn't lie down on the pavement just turned the camera upside down.
Hadn't realised I had an audience of an elderly gentleman who asked me what I was doing. Just told him I was potty and took photos of anything and everything.
mmmmmm he didn't disagree with the part that I am potty!!!
So this is one of those rare, rare days in Melbourne where the air really is crystal clear and the light is magic

This shot almost didn't happen. After the last shot I uploaded, I walked down to the Esplanade area to shoot directly toward the sunset in Cambridge. I had planned to quit after that, but when I looked back I saw the lights on the John Hancock were visible, so I hustled back to the bridge to shoot this scene.
This is NOT HDR or any other multiple exposure image. I also did not use any filters. This is nearly straight out of camera (I did adjust the white balance slightly). There is a window of time that is very fleeting in the evening when everything balances out perfectly. In this shot both the lights of the buildings and the warm dusk light are visible.
