Our thoughts:

As Californians, kozy and I were honored to be given the Kelp Forest habitat as part of PangeaSeed’s “HOME” print suite, which seeks to bring attention to various threatened marine habitats around the world. As divers who spent a good amount of time floating happily through these radiant forests that can be bursting with life, it is a pleasure for us to depict this ecosystem with kozy’s painting. Its an ecosystem that only exists along the pacific coastline of the Americas, and along California in particular - where it comes into heavy contact with human activity. Over the last several hundred years the kelp forests, which practically lined the entire coast of California have dwindled down to mere pockets because of human hunting. It began with fur traders hunting sea otters nearly to extinction by the early 1800’s, not knowing that sea otters kept the sea urchin population at bay. The explosion of sea urchins (who like to feed on the holdfasts of giant kelp) caused a massive decline of the forests, which were the main protective environment a majority of species along this coast. Visit the link to find out more about how you can help protect this ecosystem!

Magic Hole- There was very low water level on that day at South end on sea.... was walking under the sea.... found this magic!! hole... as soon as I reached close enough. more than twenty crabs quickly vanished into it....

Magic is believing in yourself,

if you can do that, you can make anything happen.

Out for the first time since lockdown at the Magic Theatre.. too busy having fun to get many pics

We had ADR's for Cindy's Table this particular morning, and to be honest, the only reason I did it was to get morning shots of the castle without any lens lice. I'm a producer for a very successful pro shooter and his advice to me since day one has been shoot into the light, last trip I really focused on that, backlighting as much as possible.

It's not quite how I envisioned the shot, but I still like how this one turned out (especially for a 2 a.m. shot). In the original size file, you can actually read the names in the bricks.

HDR from 6 exposures merged and finished in CS5.

Thanks for looking!

Another Christmas in July Capture from my last trip.

I'm not too happy with the Filch minifig. He doesn't really look like him at all. I liked the brown hair from the preliminary pictures better.

"The home of witchcraft & wizardry. Take on the Dark Lord in our spellbinding escape rooms, brew up a potions cocktail in our Magic Potions Tavern. Cloaks and wands provided!"

I took these in April 2006, the WMA and WMN belonged to Pixelleposse. Frankly, I never uploaded them because I thought they were fairly awful pictures. If it is any excuse, it was Jennah who posed the three "white magic" pix.
