This was the first one we saw when we came in the room, do you think the face is a convex or a concave? in or out of the surface?

It's a whole new world! Ok, maybe not...

Anyways, this was built for MocAthalon 2014 over on MOCpages.

The category was Pair Dare, in which you can only use two types of pieces (unlimited colors though). I chose to use 1x2 tiles and 1x1 clips.

Sold as doll with a basic body and hair that changed colour when warmed by breath, hand or water. So did her swimsuit. (see box previous photo.)

The girl to the right shows a more accurate Magic Sindy, if played with that is, with fuzzy hair beyond belief in a colour not quite determinable. This is how most of them look now days.

She is happy as a clam, while the "unplayed" one glance for some action. Trying to keep her cool (so she won't turn blue kekeke).

Look at the Sindys over there. They have cake.

Yay cake!

If only I could have some.

Yay cake!

And they're wearing trousers and boots. Imagine that.

Yay boots!

...... Are you going to 'yay' everything I say?

Yay boots!

It sort of ruins my envious, self pitying mood.

Mood. Yay!

*Sigh*

I often do a lot of research to find beautiful locations to photograph. Sometimes, after a lot of effort, I arrive at a location and it doesn't live up to expectations. Other times, I turn up and it absolutely blows me away. Can you guess which category this location falls into?

Tombstone Territorial park in the Yukon was absolutely stunning. This location utterly floored me. Beautiful hints of fall colours, a sweeping vista leading to the setting sun with the powerful Tombstone mountain looming in the distance. How could it get any better? It could - and it did! The ground was littered with fresh berries, and I had this view to only myself and two friends. Great view, food growing everywhere, friends by your side, hard to beat. There's magic in the North Klondike Valley!

So... been a little while since I’ve uploaded eh? So, yeah, here you go, an upload. Also, I know I’ve been posting quite a few of these drawings as of late, though I’m planning on posting some Lego stuff soon-ish, so yay!

Anyways, onto the drawing, this is a diagram of my magic system of Rivél (dang, I’ve been posting a lot of Rivél stuff as well. XD) But yeah, the magic system in Rivél is a bit complicated, so I’ll just give you a basic run-down of it.

It’s quite similar to the magic of Avatar, the Last Airbender (look it up if you don’t know) except there’s two more elements (wood and metal,) these elements are represented by a symbol. Magic users can use any of these elements, though they are all naturally attuned to one specific element. These elements can be separated into ‘sub-elements.’

The elements may also be combined, creating new elements, such as fire, lighting, and electricity.

Magic users can use magic because of a special ‘life power’ (still need a name for it,) and if you guys would like, I’ll post another diagram explaining how that works.

And... that’s my brief magical explanation. Hope you guys don’t mind these more story-ee posts, because I quite like posting stuff like this.

I love when the sun shines into the widows in the morning. It makes everything it touches glow.

Magic of Mývatn and the surrounding area is a magnificent and unique natural wonder. In addition to the lake itself you will find wild life, including various duck species, 22 species at most, along with phenomena such as pseudo-craters, the largest explosion crater in Europe and lava fields the like of which you would expect on Mars. Many wonders of nature can be found in the Mývatn area, for example Dettifoss, Europe’s most powerful waterfall, and Jökulsárgljúfur national park within which you will find Ásbyrgi and Hljóðaklettar, Herðubreið mountain, which is considered the queen of all Icelandic mountains and Askja mountain, which has Askja lake and Víti crater.

In Mývatnssveit, you will find Höfði, where one-of-a-kind lava clusters rise out of the lake as well as Dimmuborgir, where the interaction between the magnificent lava formations plays with the imagination. Dimmuborgir sports a lava formation that can be walked into and looks like a church dome. Grjótagjá chasm is yet another wonder; it has an underground flow of hot water and can be explored on foot.

Grjótagjá chasm was once the most popular bathing site in Mývatnssveit, but today it is too hot to bathe in. Hverir are natural clay springs with boiling clay. They are quite a remarkable sight. The volcanic area Leirhnjúkur, which last erupted in 1984, is a breathtaking area where you can explore the lava fields and see how new life emerges in the fresh lava. More of nature’s spectacles can be found in the area, and it would be possible to stay there for weeks and still have new things to explore each day.

Trollstigen is a mountain road in Rauma, Norway (National Road 63) connecting Åndalsnes in Rauma and Valldal in Norddal.

It is a popular tourist attraction due to its steep incline of 9% and eleven hairpin bends up a steep mountain side.

Disco Magic Sindy got four, somewhat extreme, separate outfits. This is one of them.

I stayed after dark for the fireworks finale at Disney's Magic Kingdom, Florida. Cinderella's castle lights up in all the colours and patterns you could imagine, all set to a stunning fireworks display and jolly soundtrack.

Magic City Classic football game celebration, Birmingham AL, Oct 2022

The light of the day is gone, and the waters of the Pacific Ocean are singing the endless song of waves crashing along the beach. But the darkness reveals this is no ordinary night along the shore. Billions of bioluminescent organisms have been thriving in the waters along the Southern California coast, and at times some waves light up with blue magic as the phytoplankton light up with the water’s disturbance. This was my second foray into trying to capture this long elusive (for me) phenomenon. It was very challenging to figure out where the waves would light up, and to try to frame them. I found 85mm was the best as the waves were only lighting up a bit off shore. An f2.8 70-200 might have been better. Stopping the water movement was pretty impossible as it was so dark. Here I stopped down to f2.5 to try to have at least a little depth of field. It’s hard to describe how neat this is, and if you ever have the opportunity see this when it happens you should try.

its a waterfall without a river or lake in the upper portion. just from groundwater its get it source. in old time peopels belived its magical and work miracles

Closing down the Magic Kingdom in WDW, Florida. I’ve never stayed late enough to be the last bus to my resort. You can eye spy my wife at the front of the bus. As the driver was waiting to make sure there was no one left, I ran to the back to get this capture. I have one more with me in the image that I might post later at some point but I thought this one was more dynamic.

It was a late night and one I will remember for quite sometime.
