[This is the fifth photo of the Magic Beach "series"]
Mother Nature's treasures!!! 😊
It came as a big surprise. I had been at this beach a couple of years ago. This time, the idea was once again to shoot sunset, with the golden light bathing the peaks of the mountains standing on the other side of the fjord.
But, once I noticed some curious rocks and closed in on them, the landscape/seascape planned shots were immediately forgotten.

Hidden deep within a vast desert canyonland rises an enchanted mountain of extraordinary beauty. The colorful rock faces glow beneath an azure sky, transforming the landscape into a spellbinding sight. This profound work of art is a testament of the alluring power of Nature.
This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera and Super-Multi-Coated Takumar/6X7 1:4.5/75mm lens with a Zenza Bronica 82mm L-1A filter using Fuji 160NS [220] film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

So I'm in a bit of a bad mood. Please lend me a ear for a bit of complaining...Yes I'm still in Patna, the capital of the Bihar, one of the states of India. Granted I'm in a half decent hotel, but I'm not spending most of my time in it! Since I'm here for fieldwork for a thesis, I've been spending 12-14hours a day in the hot Bihari sun in a remote village (the temp today was around 35'C I believe). And this is still early spring!
On the journey to the village every morning, which takes about 2 hrs each way, we cross a 8.5km bridge, one of the lanes of which have caved in. But we're development workers, we don't let a little potentially life threatening commute ever deter us! While all this was tough enough, I must've cought a bug or something, and now I'm up till 4:30am with fever and nothing else to do. Hmm..reruns of 24?
Anyways, thought a little humor is in order. This was taken in Nehru Place, a hustling bustling open market of bootlegged and genuine electronic goods. I've been thoroughly warned about not buying anything from here. In the middle of the square, I saw this gentleman come and set up shop and was instantly surrounded by a crowd of interested onlookers. Now, my Hindi's questionable at best, but from the few words I caught topped up by his gestures, the gist of the presentation was that he had found this mysterious material from the foothills of the Himalayas that essentially, after drinking it, would make stallions come to you (the gentlemen) for advice in the matters of the boudoir ;)
LOL a lot of friends are asking if I got the fever after drinking it, lol, I did not in fact take it :P

Antwerp's (Belgium) Cathedral on the Blue Hour
As captured on the evening of June 14. 2013 through one of My Magic Windows
Followed by a puma (first, I thought it was a big cat) for five minutes, finally I was standing at the border of the fire mountains, looking at the gateway to hell or heaven all by myself.
The song I was listening to was Ed Sheeran "I See Fire", when I processed this picture, it fits it so well.
Happy July 4th Weekend!
The universe is full of magical things, patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper.

Can you imagine the moment? There was absolute silence in the forest, a heavy snowfall is falling.
The snow accumulates on the tree trunks and bushes leaning over the river.
The scenery is wonderful, Idyllic, it seems touched by magic. I felt that I could be on another planet.
Note: Contrary to what yous senses may be telling you, this is NOT a B&W image. It is a rather "normal" color photo. The fact is that there was almost no color in the scene...
