In the "magic time", the time after sunset in 1 hour, I took the beautiful Kaohsiung port with my 120 film camera, Bronica S2. The second film, Kodak Ektar 100, I used for taking many popular scenery in Kaohsiung city.
Wandering through the corners of the city, I entered the courtyard of an old tenement house.
In the end of the yard I saw interesting buildings. Magic place.
The city is changing and there are fewer and fewer places.

While going through my archives I came across this image taken several years back on an early summer morn at Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge on the east platfrom. A doe and her fawn had stepped down into the creek and into our momentary view. I still remember the magic of the moment!
Focus merge, 5 shots of a nice one inch tall mushroom. Walking in the Circeo National Park. This is a magic area full of history and gorgeous nature. A perfect place for the Magic Forest project with autumn mood.

TROPPO SOLE PER LA VALLE.
La vallata, famosa per i suoi prati e i boschi di fondovalle, è sconosciuta a gran parte dei turisti amanti della montagna laddove la sequenza ininterrotta di cime si fonde con il cielo oramai prossimo all’Austria e all’Europa. Si apprezza un fascino mitteleuropeo osservando i profili delle Alpi Giulie scintillare a levante, per poi sfumare verso i colossi ghiacciati dei Tauri a nord e alle più note Dolomiti schierate a sud. Uno spettacolo tanto ampio e sorprendente che non molti hanno avuto la fortuna di apprezzare. Tutto a qualche chilometro dal cuore del Cadore, dalla trafficata strada che unisce Santo Stefano alla vivace e frequentata Sappada; a una manciata di minuti dal Comelico e dalla via per la vicinissima Val Pusteria, ad un passo dalla verde Carnia. Un mondo intero di montagne, sorprendentemente condensate nei loro ambienti caratteristici, spunta di poco a lato del Piave, che proprio qui nasce e inizia la tormentata corsa verso il Mare Adriatico.

TOO SUNNY FOR THE VALLEY.
The valley, famous for its meadows and woods at the bottom of the valley, is unknown to most mountain-loving tourists where the uninterrupted sequence of peaks merges with the sky now close to Austria and Europe. A Central European charm is appreciated by observing the profiles of the Julian Alps glittering to the east, and then fading towards the frozen giants of the Tauri to the north and the more famous Dolomites lined up to the south. A show so large and surprising that not many have had the good fortune to appreciate. All a few kilometers from the heart of Cadore, from the busy road that connects Santo Stefano to the lively and busy Sappada; a handful of minutes from Comelico and from the road to the nearby Val Pusteria, a stone's throw from the green Carnia. A whole world of mountains, surprisingly condensed into their characteristic environments, emerges just beside the Piave, which is born right here and begins its tormented race towards the Adriatic Sea.

Wizard Island at Crater Lake National Park. Wizard Island is a volcano inside of a volcano. Crater Lake is the caldera a dormant volcano and is the clearest lake in world and the deepest in the United States (1,943 feet or 592 m). It was formed around 7,700 years ago by the collapse of the volcano Mount Mazama.
I used my wide-angle lens on a tripod and took 3 pictures to get the correct exposures for near, middle, far and then blended them together in Photoshop to archive the most natural image.

Also pretty much for anyone that cares, this will likely be my posting rate from here on out. I know that's about on par with the past, but this time I'd like to post consistently at a slow rate. If that makes sense
We started pretty early in the morning to be at the spot when the first soft rays of light were kissing the stone walls of the magic castle. As the flag was fluttering in the wind, it was a struggle to stabilize the camera. But as everyone knows, when the flag is raised, the knight is at home. Thanks to Nicky and Patrick for joining me on the trip. Greetings to Barbara and Roman, two fellow photographers we met on location.
