Seeing is believing. Because this looks like magic but is one of nature's most amazing events.

just playing... with photoshop !
all from my original photographs !
For people who believe in EXPLORE, you'll see that I have a set for the photos wich were on explore... not anymore ! Flickr has decided to put my page "out of the public domain" because my images are not photos !!! Well this is the rules. Flickr obviously prefer showing in the public domain pornographic photos, bloody photos or creepy and bizarre. I let you juge if it's fair or not
This is my 2nd entry to the CCCXI - Category: Dark Age Illumination
This was built for the Lands of Classic Castle and continues the story about Paul von Brickenstein
They travelled three days, when they reached the mountains behind Toberg. It was late in the evening, and the light was fading away. Then they suddenly saw the enlighted entrance to a cave just about half a mile away. Ramazan bin Tiben told them, this may be the cave they are searching for. And so they climbed up to the entrance.
Inside the cave was an enchanting pulse of light in the water on the ground, that refelected on the cragged walls. Everything was full of bones, even under the surface of the water. Then Paul von Brickenstein saw the treasure in the corner, full of diamonds and gold it was sparkling and glimmering. But there was one problem, Ramazan told them that the cave was cursed, so that everyone coming into it, would stay in there and would never leave. All the skeletons around them have been adventurers who starved to death while being enchanted by the light. Fortunately there was a solution, Ramazan confessed that he is a magician and that he could stop the curse. Even if magic was not that popular these days in the lands of Roawia, the party of Brickenstein was glad not to die in this cave. The gold was shared and packed and then Ramazan started his magic spell. Suddenly it became dark and they ran out of the cave as fast as they could. When they passed the entrance again, the glowing came back, but all of them made it and none was left.
"It was the Magic Hour, the moment in time when every leaf and blade of grass seemed to separate, when sunlight, burnished by the rain and softened by the coming night, gave the world an impossibly beautiful glow."
— Kristin Hannah
Magic light sunset in Sierra Azul Open Space exuding tranquil mood. The shot was taken while a helicopter happened to patrol over the Open Space, thus giving a sense on scale of these majestic mountains. Hope you find the helicopter in this shot :)
Given that Winter weather has arrived, I decided to edit this photo (I removed some clutter) and I'm posting this for everyone to think of warmer days :)
Magic Island is a small peninsula in Honolulu, Hawaii, adjacent to Ala Moana Beach Park and the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor
Invite some bugs
Add some fiddle-do
Stir in grated clouds
To make magic stew
Then go to sleep
On a full moon
Head full of colors
And dream till noon
The very next day
Tilt your face to the sun
Stretch your feelers
Now the magic is done
In magic traditions such wiccan the sunset is consider as a powerful moment, the gate between light and darkness when all forces get together for few minutes...
This is a colour version of an earlier photo in the series. I like them both.
The switch in format has arrived, as I predicted, stealthily, and without chance of escape. I will give it a few days to see if it will grow on me. If it does not, I will migrate to 500px.

A magic winter morning on February 4, 2012 on the floodplain near Dodewaard.
It was -15 degrees, quite cold but it didn't bother me because it was so magically beautiful, it looked like a fairytale world.
Not completely happy with this attempt, I think I will try again another day (if the blossoms last long enough...), but you know.. I get lazy and distracted so this might be the only try so here it is for now..
Well not quite. This bus has seen better days I think. It was just parked. The bus is not operational at all. I thought the setting sun added a nice look
Every day I get in the queue (too much, Magic Bus)
To get on the bus that takes me to you (too much, Magic Bus)
