Boutique Chic is a clothes store for women in Greenock 20 mins from Glasgow, this is a live brief but will also be submitted for my Major Negotiated as part of my course.
The client wanted a sophisticated stylish logo that would show class but not appear too expensive, then i was asked to do promotional to show the new summer clothes had arrived instore.

This is one of the strands of the Zest chain, it was hard to find a relation to keep them belonging to the same chain but show different values in the logo, so for the harbourside cafe i used a sun mark to show the opening time and that you just go there casually during the day for a snack or lunch and moon for zest restaurant to suggest its a place to go for a nice meal at night.

Marketing piece to be mailed out to potential customers for Zest with a recipe on the inside – 5 Step Chef its supposed to help you cook and show it can be easy to make a fancy meal for 2 just in 5 steps. The information on the inside asks people to register on the website for more cards and newsletters.
In this new elective course, MIAD Communication Design students work in groups together and role-play as Graphic Designers, Stylists, Photographers, Photo Assistants, Writers, and of course- Art Directors. By working with an existing publication look, students study the impact of Art Director and designers such as Brodovitch and Warhol, while considering the publication's look and feel, typography treatment and styling cues.
